We had a car problem and onsite staff went out of way to try to help and find assistance...the room and facilities (including BBQ) were in good condition and all we needed for our stay

We were transported back to the past with everything being outdated. Pillows (2) were paper thin, when I asked at the desk if they happened to have extra pillows she immediately said we do not but let me check. She came back with one pillow extremely old and flimsy. Found a long black hair on it when we got to the room. The bedding was almost see through it was so old. TV was not visible from the bed. Didn't work anyways. I wouldn't let any children I know play at their do called playground..all very old wood looking for a splinter to happen.

The kids loved and enjoyed the pool. It would have been awesome if there was at least a microwave in the room but other than that our stay was comfortable.

We stayed in one of the Econo rooms. It provided bed for kitchenette table, and chairs and full bath. Had a barbeque to use outside chairs on the deck and chairs on the lawn. The pool was less than a two minute walk away. Grounds were extremely well kept, quiet. Garbage disposal and laundromat I very handy as well. Probably within 2 to 3 minute walk. Absolutely amazing place for the price. Would recommend this to absolutely anyone who is looking to get away economically.

Great cottage. The young lady who checked us in was exceptional. Went out of her way to provide useful information. Lovely place to stay, our cottage had the pool view but unfortunately it wasn’t opened the weekend we stayed, they were in the process of opening it up for the summer season. Good location for cavendish area. Only downside was the deck could have used some TLC(rails and picnic table was a little Tatty).

Our stay here was awesome. No complaints. Had the best fresh cooked lobster i have ever eaten for a great price. Loved taking the confederation bridge over and the Ferry ride back to Nova Scotia.

We had a wonderful stay at Shining Waters! The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is central to everything and you can get the walking path to the beach directly across the road. We would definitely return!

Older. Could have been so much more. No Kleenex, hairbrush dryer, coffee or paper towels. Bedroom upstairs. No railing on stairs. Safety issue. Very tiny tv. Huge rip in couch. No ac upstairs. Bathroom updated but very small vanity. No room to put toiletries.

We recently stayed in this cottage and had a wonderful experience. The property, though old, is impeccably maintained and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our early check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The location is beautiful and serene, offering a perfect getaway. Additionally, it's conveniently close to several popular tourist spots, which made exploring the area very easy. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

Other than wishing there was a microwave in the room, the place was clean and cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and our stay was peaceful. Definitely recommend!! 👍👍👍

Fine resort! Nothing glamorous in the regular motel rooms but it was clean and quiet and the property was green and beautiful.

The cottage is a lovely place, perfect for easy traveling in the countryside. It is in a very relaxed setting, and within walking distance of the beach and Green Gable. The room is so clean that I feel comfortable to wear no slippers in the room. I give it 10 rating in all criteria.

Loved the little room we got at this charming little hotel. It was very homey, comfortable and felt very much like a home away from home. We were able to use the barbecue one night, and were delighted that there were barbecue tools provided. Only things that were not as good were the stair case to our cabin/hotel was off, which left a gap between the porch and the staircase. But overall an excellent little place to stay in PEI!
