Very clean and tidy site, Good atmosphere, lots to do and food was excellent value. Kids loved all the onsite games and entertainment. Short walk to beach over dunes.

Last minute family trip up to the North Coast. We were amazed by the quality outfit this place is. Nice food, pool, countless activities for the children! We will be back

Great stay in general, with good facilities and friendly staff. The were a couple of things I wasn't satisfied with. 1. The shower head in my room was mounted in a way which meant you had to have the water pressure low or the water streamed out over the edge of the bath. 2. Having to wait until the pool opened to use the gym seemed ludicrous to me. I was visiting for a wedding, which meant my only opportunity to use the facilities was early in the morning, but seemingly as standard you can use neither the pool or gym until 9am. 3. The breakfast options seemed pretty poor given the price I had to pay on top of a not particularly cheap room rate. The full English selection and quality was good but the only fruit option when I visited seemed to be a bowl of grapefruit, and on one of the days I was there there were no yogurts or choice of pastries.

The area was outstanding very clean, the room was clean and facilities were excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone. The staff were really attentive and helpful.

Quite Excellent. from book in by Karen at reception who upgraded us - to the gym and pool staff (notably Caelan), to the restaurant staff, Joe, Cara and Eloise who provided an excellent service from the dining room - carvery and take away meals. The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie). We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of activities on site for both adults and children. equipment for these activities on hand and respected by clients at the resort. A really super weekend break I'd have stayed for much longer given the chance.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for three nights and the room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We had to request clean towels from reception. Furniture in the room had obviously not been pulled out for a long time. Table outside was absolutely filthy.

We had a wonderful time at Croyde Bay resort. Their web site photos do not do it justice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are superb. We will certainly return again!

We booked this just a few days prior to arrival to spend a few days with our 7 year old granddaughter. I’m delighted to say that our experience was everything we hoped if would be - excellent accommodation that was clean, comfortable and convenient in every way. There was a problem with hot water during our stay but we were kept informed and offered alternative showering options and a very acceptable discount without having to ask. We would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend others to do likewise.

Great location, family friendly with just enough to do to cover wet days.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for a night before meeting up with family at a local holiday park for the weekend. As a family of 4 with 2 teenage sons we weren’t sure what to expect but really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would go back. The service was friendly and efficient. We came across a couple of staff who weren’t particularly helpful but the majority were fab, especially the young man at the bar who remembered us at breakfast the next day. He was new and is a credit to the hotel. The family room was perfect for us and there was a good mix of facilities. The pool is probably in need of a service as the chlorine was very strong but the pool area was generally clean. The outside areas were immaculate and it was a lovely short walk to the beautiful Croyde Bay beach. Overall, very happy with this hotel - we’ve already recommended it and had 2 other families stay there!

Lovely little cottage close to the beach for a quick two night getaway. Great utilities and plenty of things to do; the snooker table and minigolf was a delight.

The cottage was wonderful, clean, with a fully modern kitchen and comfortable bedrooms.

Lovely place to stay. Hotel room was comfy and clean, nicely decorated. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lots to do around the site too with equipment provided for free. So close to the beautiful beach. Only disappointment was the entertainment. Very lacking in children’s entertainment and the people running it didn’t seem that bothered! The band that was on one night and magician another didn’t start until 8.30pm which is too late for the young ones.

the entertainment was fun for the kids ( & adults) although it finished too early. Felt like you had to go to bed at 9pm which not everyone wants to do on holiday. Had swings and mini golf outside the back of the room which was great for kids to do first thing in morning. Had pool and was by the beach and a 10 min walk to the town. More staff probably needed but it was bank holiday so on the whole was good.

Lovely hospitality and food was good. Clean venue and facilities, but requires modernisation and a spruce up. Value for money.

We were really to find this on a last-minute search for a North Devon holiday. This is such a lovely place with a fantastic location next to an amazing beach. There are loads of activities for kids and the pool is great when the weather isn't so great. If they could improve one thing it would be the service at meal times in the restaurant which was slow.

Friendliest and most accommodating staff ever! Never seen such good service in the UK before. Fantastic location and facilities. My 6yo son had the time of his life. We'll be going back every year!

The hotel rooms were spacious for a family and clean. The staff were lovely and accommodating but the roast dinner and temperature of food left a lot to be desired, same for the breakfast.

Really happy with our stay. Our room was perfect overlooking the gardens and the sand dunes. The room was perfect size for a family and also the two bathrooms was a bonus! The place was really clean and had everything we needed. Great facilities in the kitchen. Also bonus was the disabled parking by our room as that’s one thing I was concerned about when we got there was having problems carrying stuff to our room. Really happy with the swimming pool and facilities. My little boy loved the crazy golf and play area too. So close to the sea too, amazing views.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very pleased with the accommodation and the proximity to the beach and village. Excellent on site facilities. Would definitely stay there again.

we were disappointed with the room we thought we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen but had a family room on frst floor with no kitchen
