The b&b was beautiful inside. Very comfortable bed and accommodations (Prem King). The breakfast was delicious. The free bottled water and cc cookies was a pleasant surprise. We learned during the Haunted Walk that the B&B had a haunted history…which was cool. The only thing that was surprising was the condition of the yard and gardens. It needed some TLC. Overall a nice stay.

I loved the Rosemount Inn! Very cozy, clean and modern amenities in a historic building! The personalized attention to detail was appreciated and we enjoyed the breakfast and cookies and water bottles. Everything you need is in the room! Quiet location walking distance to the waterfront and easy parking on weekends if no room in driveway. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We will stay here again!

Incredible experience, and we will be back you can guarantee it! From the moment we walked in the front door we were in instant vacay mode with the level of thoughtful details given to our stay. Check in was a breeze, our room was so beautiful, and the extra touches with bubbles and chocolate was just spot on. Thank you so much! Lastly, the awesome breakfast sends you off proper. I enjoyed the Rosemount in so much last year. I came back this summer. A little pricier than other places nearby but well worth it. Beautiful reception area and large sitting room with a piano. The room was spotless and in great condition, except for a loudly creaking bed. Everything else was just perfect. The delicious homemade breakfast is served with pride by Kale.

Warmly welcomed by Marcela, warm cookies and bottled water immediately available. Nice welcome gift waiting in our room for us, spotless bathroom and accommodations as well as the common areas. Breakfast was good and filling and the coffee was plentiful and tasty. Only issue I had was my bed loudly creaked when there was movement, any movement. But besides that, we liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. I’ll be in Kingston every year or two and I will always stay here, We reserved the queen suite which included a second level stair access reading room/art room and a separate outdoor balcony with table and chairs. I highly recommend.

I had Room #3 at the Rosemount. The private balcony was the best!! There was also a small staircase that leads to an upper reading room, so quaint! And the dressing area just off the balcony is where all the light streams through, not the bedroom area, which is subdued for the best sleep on a comfortable bed. An updated modern bath was small but well appointed. The breakfast sandwiches are super! I don’t eat sugar or drink coffee so most “breakfast included” places have little interest for me but the breakfast at the Rosemount was really fine. They also leave free bottles of water and snacks out everyday, plus a nice little gift of pink bubbly in the room fridge.
The neighborhood is the most beautiful in Kingston. Near the lake, parks, downtown and university. The decor at the Rosemount is very chic but comfortable.
I can’t wait to go back to room #3!

Great place with 2 exceptions. The shower floor is so slippery that it’s unsafe. Parking is a hassle when the small lot is full. Cars have to be moved at 8, 9 or 10 am depending on the street. The nearby public lot was closed except for permit holders due to construction. Enjoyed chatting with the breakfast chef.

This is a special place. You feel warmly welcomed with a sweet note, fresh baked cookies and chocolates and sparkling wine in the fridge in your room. The staff is kind and helpful. The decor is lovely and the rooms are clean and beautiful! They had a piano player in the living room with popcorn and macaroons. It was the perfect place in terms of location as well and we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

It's very pretty around the area and the house is nice from the outside. We were greeted by a lovely woman and offered freshly baked cookies. But our room was quite odd. The bed is inches from the door as you walk in. There is nowhere to sit other than on the bed. Everything was very dark and there were very few outlets and no TV. There was a very very narrow stairway in our room leading up to a loft that had a desk and chair with a huge bible open on the desk and a sign that said to be careful with it as it's old. A bible as a highlight seems very old school and inappropriate. Our bed was creeky and unfortunately, not comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and so dark it was hard to see in the mirror. There's quaint and there's odd and sorry to say this room was odd. The end tables were made of tin with no outlets for phones except for one across the room. Breakfast was served in a nice room and made with fresh ingredients.
