Excellent hotel, location, cleanliness and friendly staff

Parking ... not for residents but for hotel employees... Indoor poll only for spa customers But overall check the following story: We had a request for your Maître d'hotel through a Server (quarson)… he did not give us any respect. Basically he gave us a look and left… and he did not explain to us why or what… It is the first time that i went to hotel and wait the time to pass to leave... Also the try to double charge us for the drinks we had at night... Horrible experience!!!!!!

Charges for every minimal standard service. Never been charged for safes, extra keys, beach facilities...

The room was confirmed, but was not available. Cheating is the nature of reception manager.

Nice hotel and very confortable. The pool is fantastic and very nearest at sea. Very pratical and easy. The hotel staff is ok but not very cheerful.

Great amenities, some of the employees could be nicer (towels).I would expect an all-inclusive stay to cover also a coffee in the pool bar (which I was told I cannot have), a bar in the lobby where I can get coffee or cold drinks and take them to the room, and a daily bottle of water to the room. In other hotels we stayed in, that was the standard.In general, if youre in your room, you dont have anything to drink. In other all-inclusive hotels, the soft drinks in the mini-bar could be taken for free (all-included, right?).Additionally, the pool bar is not opened to the all-inclusive guests at all times, so there were times when our baby was hungry but we were told that we need to wait 20 minutes until we can order, while other non-all-inclusive guests could always order. That gives you the feeling that youre a second priority guest in the hotel, and that the hotel prefers guests that pay cash rather than guests that have already paid for everything in advance.Overall, our stay was great, but there are things that can be done better in the hotel.

Love the remodeling... second time at Melissa - everything was perfect... my son who is 3.5 years enjoyed it!! Will go there again...

Arrived at 1.00 am for a four day fully paid stay to be told they had overbooked hotel and we had been moved to hotel up the road not on the sea side for duration of our stay. Was unimpressed but as we had no option that night we went to other hotel where we were given a standard room not comparable to superior room we had booked at Melissa Beach and not on the beach side of the road.Went back to Melissa Beach next morning very determined to explain that we were unhappy with the situation. We explained that with internet bookings that have been accepted 3 months in advance this should not happen. We are no longer living in the 70s or 80s where hotels could get away with doing this and putting us up in non comparable hotels. As it turned out through much persistent discussion they found a room but we wondered who they bumped out the next three nights. Towels covering empty pool seats from 8 in the morning are an issue and two slow lifts for the number of guests not enough..

Have stayed here before and loved it. It now has a new manager and small things like getting a bottle of water are no longer part of the all inclusive. They only give 1 room key because they want you to leave a second key in the room to keep the AC on. Really inconvenient when you and your wife must rely on one key. Hotel is full of Russian tourists of which almost all are extremely rude

We were two families with children had a great time. The staff the location and pool were great. Food could have been better.

We had a really nice holiday at the melissi. All of the staff were exceptionally nice , especially Kyriakos at the pool bar. Beautiful part of Cyprus , the beds were typical and a bit uncomfortable.

Great amenities and service. Pool is wonderful and buffet for all inclusive is even better. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointed with the poor customer service at this hotel. Management was cold & indifferent. Sunbeds were impossible to find at the pool. Rooms & pool area not well cleaned. Hotel was jam packed with guests & it was impossible to even find a ride in the elevator. Some Hotel rooms have been remodeled & wifi was good. Fancy key pad for entry & exit & light up cupboard but at the end if the day, those are not the memories we will take of the hotel. Rather its the indifferent & cold staff who found it beneath them to even be civil to hotel guests.

Nice hotel but dislike the pool towel service, Internet drop outs, paying for everything including the safe 2€U a day. . Ice €4 a bucket. Rude!!

Excellent, have stayed at this hotel before and many others in this location, will hopefully be returning later in the year, accommodation, service, swimming pool and food, all superb, would not hesitate to recommend to others.

It was an enjoyable stay, gold sand , pristine condition and very good food. Staff friendly and helpfull . I would stay again to this hotel for sure.
