generally it was ok except for a noisy group of people (i don't know if they were staff or guests) who kept talking loudly until midnight.

Convenient location. Nice decore in rooms. Better ventilation and sound proofing needed. Our stay was affected by renovations, once completed it should improve things.

It's was a good choice for the money. Great location too.

As soon as I arrived at Plaza Maria Luisa Suites, I was greeted by friendly, smiling staff. My check-in was quick and the private room with private bath that I stayed in was clean & comfortable. Wifi also worked well in the room. The front desk was helpful in giving me information about how to get around to the nearby towns. The location is perfect as it’s in the city center, near the Church, the public market & painitan stalls, Rizal Blvd, lots of restaurants, coffee shops or bars, and near jeepney stops. I stayed here for 3 nights and would stay here again when I come back to Dumaguete.

for over night stay is ok, not good for many nights. Hotel is very old, room is small. For the same price, you could find something better.

Was only in Dumaguette for one night and needed two rooms at the last minute. This hotel was very very cheap, but offered a high standard of service and the rooms were better than what I expected for the money....working wifi, air con, cable tv...all bang in the centre of town and 5 mins walk from the Promenade.

This hotel is dated and overpriced in comparison to others in the area. We were disappointed with our room, especially as it was dark with no window. It was clean, however. The walls are paper thin and it was noisy overnight. I wouldn't stay here again.

The first room this hotel gave me smelled like mold and the floors were all wet. I was moved to another room that was better, but still wasn't great. There seems to be no sound proofing anywhere. I could hear everyone that was in the hall and the room next to mine. The staff would come in each day and empty the trash or sweep the floor but they never cleaned the shower the whole week I was there. Towels and lines were old and had stains and holes. I think there was a gap between the ceiling of my room and the next floor because during the night it sounded like rodents or maybe lizards were trying to come through the ceiling. The staff was friendly and the location was good but the hotel needs a lot of improvements. I would not chose to stay here again.

Stayed here for 5 days in December 2015, our room was window less for it was their cheapest room.

I'm comfortable to stay this hotel specially near to downtown and the view very peaceful.

Really bad .. Air condition not working on a hot season..

Nice Place, They have great Wifi, Nice large room , good cable but small flat panel TV, Good AC , Hot Shower, Clean room, Good Staff,close to the boardwalk, lots of good eats around, Live music at local locations near by , Friday , Sat Nights.
