Rooms not abound proof enough

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Drains in tub and sink drained SLOWLY. The room (non smoking) definitely had the smell of old smoke.

It was an average place to stay. A little overpriced since they didn't offer a breakfast.

it was incredible a facility that is this old is so well taken care of !! we only stayed for a few days but found very nice !!

The size of the room was great!

Everything on site- including cafe and pool. And the structure is so cute.

Great location if seeing a show at APT or visiting Taliesin, but not the nicest hotel. It’s clean but outdated and the wifi is spotty.

Access late in the evenings was a bit difficult. No matter where you were parked you had to enter through the front door.

Pleasantly surprised. Nice place. Not new or "ritzy" but clean and roomy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only minor complaints were wi fi worked in lobby but not in room; and bed was a little too firm. The coffee shop next store is mediocre for breakfast.

We were on a trip to photograph barns in the area. How cool it was to have a motel that had a round-barn theme. The front desk workers were especially helpful, in particular, Abby. The motel is not new or fancy, but clean and comfortable. It has a nice pool. Would stay again.

Great place to stay a night before visiting Taliesin, which is only 8 min away. Round Barn Lodge has a distinctive design itself, and my upper level room had a vaulted ceiling which gave a spacious feel to the room. Comfy bed, and staff was friendly and helpful. Short drive to the Riverside Resort which has beautiful outdoor dining along the river, and the General Store, which has delicious healthy food options.

I and my sister have stayed here twice now, and have received great service both times. We brought our electric bikes along and did not want to bring them up the stairs so we left them alongside the building in the back. I called the front desk to let them know, and they put one of the cameras on them and watched them whilst we went into Madison. Great customer service, great rooms. This is my go-to spot when I visit Spring Green! Thanks again!

It was convenient for our travels. The staff was very pleasant.

Our family liked that is was round and a red barn!

While my specific was clean and seemed tecently updated, the common areas are worn and a hodge-lodge of furniture, taped on “no smoking” signs, and grumpy or just tired front desk people. They have subleased a front facing “round barn” structure to a “cafe” run by teens with breakfast choices that are horrible.and with tables and decor that looks pretty basic and thrown together. Won’t be returning.

I used this hotel as a base for visiting Taliesin, and it worked very well. This is a basic hotel, but everything worked, it was very reasonably priced, it was clean, and the staff was very nice. I noticed it had a nice indoor pool as well. Good stay and good value for the price.

Our room was just wonderful! The air conditioning was already on before we got into our room. The decor was rustic. The rooms seemed to be recently updated, because even the carpet in our room looked very clean like it hadn't been walked on very much. We had a ceiling fan that was great at keeping the air circulating. The women at the front desk when we checked in and out were fantastic! There also was a great place to eat right across the street, so the location was convenient.

My granddaughter and I really enjoyed our stay at the Round Barn Lodge. Everything in the room was clean and fresh, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was great value for money. Would stay gain if in the area.

Updated hotel with big room. My son traveled with me for work. The room was huge compared to other hotels. Located in a convenient spot that felt very safe & secure - something that I always pay attention to when traveling with my kids!

A very nice lodge! Normally with small town properties, I usually encounter poorly maintained units. The room at the Round Barn was well-maintained, spacious, and just really nice.

A very fun, clean hotel just minutes away from lots of cool things to do!

The loft suite was great! Everything we needed, clean and spacious. Loud, drunk guests in the parking lot (a few feet outside of the windows) for 6-7 hours straight ruined the entire night and stay. Not the hotels fault though, just upper middle-aged @ssholes on a trip without thier spouses. Jacob at the front desk did a fantastic job in a difficult situation. Much appreciated.
