We really enjoyed our stay at the Canterbury Inn. The innkeepers were friendly and welcoming. Although they did not serve a full breakfast, there were many things to choose from. Our room was comfortable and pretty, and had a fireplace which was welcoming because it was cold outside. If in the area, we will definitely stay there again!

We were greeted at the front door cheerfully and taken to the front desk to check in. Which only took a few minutes. She then carried my bag up to our room Always enjoy staying at this hotel! It’s like visiting family.

Enjoyed the lovely property and the staff who tended to us. Breakfasts were terrific with lots of choices. Very helpful staff. The yard is beautiful with patio furniture for guests to sit at. Most enjoyable!

The gardens were beautiful and loved the pool table and library - good breakfast choices. But plastic sheeting over the mattress and very hard pillows mean we won’t be returning unfortunately.

This was a wonderful stay from start to finish. Beautiful property with a serene garden space in the backyard, very clean and lovely rooms, wonderful customer service and a delightful breakfast. Walking distance to shops and wineries. I would definitely recommend!

We really loved the location, as it was a short walk to the main area. Like some of the other posts, we had issues with the room being quite hot and we had no control over room temperature. Overall, we would stay here again. Thank you!

Very clean. Is somewhat dated but that adds a unique charm, a very clean property. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to any needs . Is very close to downtown area . We would stay again for sure .

Excellent service by friendly staff, in particular Susan. Beautiful garden although there was construction going in the property next door — too noisy to enjoy peaceful time in garden. A 15 minute pleasant walk to town. Nice quiet street.
