Our room was very homey. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The lady who checked us in was very nice and took time to see that we had what we needed including breakfast accomodations. We would highly recommend this motel.

This was a convenient and affordable place to stay in Shipshewana. The breakfast was a highlight of staying there, with many options, including hot food. The staff are friendly and the rooms were clean. The hotel is a bit dated but everything worked.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed, the breakfast was better with more choices than before, however the pet fees doubled and they didn't make me aware until check in. Thankfully i was able to pay it as all the other pet friendly places would have been booked. Rooms are decent, breakfast good, enough grass for the pets to play and potty also a very clean area.

The room was dusty,they only straitened up our room once, only gave us more towels once…in three days. The food for breakfast was not very good and did not replenish the hot food. We have been there several times,but this was our last.

Room was so, so. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was horrible. There were sausages that seemed uncooked (color), their eggs tasteless, and tots were not cooked properly. Only enough seating for around 10, very closed in area. Staff, both times same person morning and evening acted as though we were a bother to her. This is very unacceptable especially when i rent 2 rooms and give them my business.

This motel is not like the pictures. It needs some serious upgrades. The rooms were clean but the lobby is cluttered and smells really bad. Not a place you would want to try to eat their breakfast.

hotels.com never submitted reservation, when we got there to check in they were booked fully with no rooms available. Said they had no reservation under our name. we had the itinerary for proof. offered us a cabin on camp grounds with no bathroom but had to pay for this . so hope we dont get charged for a room that wasnt available

Pros: room was neat, clean, furnishings updated and breakfast hot items were a pleasant surprise. Cons: not the greatest soundproofing between rooms, bedside light kept going out and front desk just told us to use the other lights in the room, front desk clerk on checkin was okay but not very friendly.

Fitted our needs; very clean, close to activities, very friendly employees and answered all questions. Could not get the room coffee pot to work, but was close to the breakfast room and got it there, along with lots of choices for breakfast.

Nice, for this type of hotel - all room open directly from the parking lot. Room is small, but adequate. The main light is on a timer which is annoying, I don’t want it going off automatically. Breakfast area is small and they suggest that if it is full taking it outside - not very appealing.

Tabletop was a bit sticky on the small dining table and toilet was not secure to the floor, but our stay was good overall. Yes we would stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Located convenient to all the shopping yet just enough out of the heart of it all that you are not bothered by traffic issues. Access in and out was very easy.

Walls too thin ,can hear too much noise coming for adjacent rooms .Could hear snoring from both rooms in middle of night.

Rooms were a bit on the average side. Only had two washcloths and two hand towels instead of bath towels. Bed was uncomfortable.

Best kept secret in Shipshewanna, Motel built by the Amish so the rooms are well built and clean. The breakfast was delicious, but served in a small area. Highly recommend this motel.

Such a nice quiet restful place. No traffic noise to disrupt your stay. Very close to multiple places to eat. Staff friendly and courteous. The only drawback I can mention is the toilets are the short height, standard round seat toilets, and for an old lady with bad knees it was difficult to get back up! Would be helpful if the was a grab bar handy, but the only one in our room was on the far wall, next to the bathtub, and it was beyond my reach.

I loved everything about our stay here in Shipshewana! The room was clean and maintained perfectly. Great breakfast and super convenient to shopping and of course, the flea Market! Special kudos to the owner and manager for special help with directions back to Ohio! A definate 10 out of 10 rating!

I was very pleased with my stay here. For
the price point, it was a good value. The breakfast included sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, waffles, and the usual assortment of breads, cereals, etc. I would stay here again in a heartbeat mostly because of the value.

Dont believe the $20 a night for a pet. We stayed 2 nights and got charged $100.. instead of the $40. The owner didnt give my husband an explanation. I looked on the website and on our checkout paper it still showed $20 a night and it didnt show a weight limit or anything. We wont stay here again. We chose this hotel because of location and the fact we could have our dog at an affordable rate so we thought.
