excellent views and well maintained property

We have stayed in a lot of rentals, this one tops them all! What a warm welcome. Lights on as we were expected after dark, and soft music welcomed us through the door. Absolutely beautiful with all the comforts of home. Easy access, beautiful view to the ocean. Sitting on the beach side lanai mornings and evening listening to the soft crash of the waves was so relaxing. EXCEPTIONAL!

I did not realize how important Air Conditioning was, until I realized this rental doesn’t have it. Very hot and humid. Difficult to sleep. But, on the other hand, great view and incredible sunrise. Path to black sand beach made me forget about the sleepless night.

It was a nice relaxing experience after a long tourist-clogged drive on Hana Highway. Everything was comfortable. My only suggestion is more lighting in the living room. Mahalo

Location was everything we were looking for. Quiet, secluded, right on the black sand beach! Well worth a whole week stay.

Nice- no a/c- windows open, breezy, slept awesome listening to ocean

The location and view was fabulous but the bed was old and lumpy.

This spectacular ocean view condo in Hana was just a single night stay intended to make hiking the east end of Maui easier the following day. We wish we had booked for longer. It was excellently furnished and so comfortable and peaceful. Though we were just traveling as a couple, in better times this unit would be perfect for entertaining. If we have cause to be in Hana again, we will definitely book for far longer.

The unit is spacious, clean, and well appointed with beach chairs, towels, noodles, boogie boards, etc. There are also umbrellas for the frequent showers. We ate out, but the kitchen also seemed to have everything you might need to cook, including condiments in the fridge. The view was relaxing and pleasant. There's no AC, but plenty of fans so we were comfortable throughout our stay. The porches are really relaxing, bring bug spray though if you plan to be out at night.

Beautiful view. Parking is a little tight. The futon in the living room was uncomfortable as was the bed in the master bedroom.

This fully furnished condo is simply wonderful. You can truly relax here after the road trip to Hana, and it is also a great base from which to explore the area. From the lanai, you can enjoy the view of Hana Bay, as well as the sound of the waves.

The condo has everything needed to make meals. Very clean, comfortable, can hear the waves while sleeping. The extras including Beach chairs, towels, cooler make nice touches. We took full advantage of being able to walk to town, enjoyed drinks at the resort and Hana Ranch.

The Hana drive was so much more pleasant knowing we could take our time and make the return trip the next day. And this place was the PERFECT overnight stop. Our only regret was that we only had one night to give. We couldve easily spent a couple more days. If you decide to overnight in Hana, be prepared for minimal dinner choices. Bring groceries with you, or stop at the local general store and pick up stuff to cook. We grabbed chicken plates at Huli Huli Chicken and kept them for dinner. (Lots of great lunch choices, but most dont stay open for dinner.) Go to Hana. Take your time. Enjoy the day. Stay at this place.

Everything was beautiful except for tropical bugs at night. Not much they can do but mske sure you bring bug repellent

Hana is a strange place, very isolated. The place we spent the night was first class. If you are going to Hana this is the place to stay. Reasonable rates with beautiful coastline views. The rooms were clean and well done

Our stay at the Hana Kai Resort was way beyond expectations. Ocean view and lanai was the best. Cutiest suite you could ever imagine. We are planning our next trip to Hana and the Hana Kai resort will be a part of it for sure.
