Perfect spot if you want a quiet getaway with ocean views. Was a great stop before heading to Acadia. Highly recommend

First time to the coast of Maine...was a real treat to stay here!

Our room was BEAUTIFUL. The reception area smells BAD! The staff didn’t even bother to make our bed the second day of our stay, and for $400+ a night you’d think they would at least do that. Not a great location.

During a week's stay in Maine, this was one of three places my daughter and I stayed. It was our least favorite. For us, we realized we preferred staying in the cozy B&Bs rather than this place. It depends on what experience you want. Since we were there in October, the pool was closed. We stayed in a huge room, one of the hill top rooms with a balcony. We thought we wanted to have the ocean view experience, which was great. For what I paid, however, I expected more. I missed the extra service and thoughtfulness of the B&Bs. After committing to our stay through Hotels.com, I received an email confirmation from The Inn at Ocean's Edge -- noting that had we made reservations directly, we would've had breakfast included. When we arrived at check-in that was reiterated and we were told we would need to pay $20 each for breakfast. That again was reiterated when we left. The other two places we stayed were not booked directly, and breakfast was included. It seemed petty, especially considering the price paid for the room.There was no coffee machine in the room, but were told there was a coffee machine in the building. That coffee was terrible. We tried the "pub" that was in the main lodge. The only thing that remotely fit the definition of "pub" was the bar. Wine was offered. The room looked like an activity room in a retirement facility.

$19 for breakfast, pancakes were not available, oatmeal was not cooked . So for $19 I got a muffin.

The Inn is beautiful! What luck that we found it at the last minute and had a beautiful suite facing the water and lovely garden/pool areas. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Rich who helped us have a wonderful stay. This is a gem.

The property holds a marvelous location above Camden. Incredible water views, serene. Folks are consistently of service. We stayed in the Hilltop Building- spacious with a private balcony. We found the gravel walkway path down to the Main Inn ( for breakfast) to be not so comfortable ( husband is 86 with cane) for elders. I should we return, I will request a room in the Main Inn lower hill level.

We planned this trip so that we could visit Acadia National Park. It was a great place to stay that was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. Also many things to do close by in Clemen with great restaurants and shops. We went sailing and visited a winery.

Everything was wonderful. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

The Inn is everything you think when you think "inn in Maine". It's quaint, unique, gorgeously maintained, right on the beautiful coast. The staff are helpful and genuinely take interest in you. We can't say enough good things about it.

We loved staying here but was sad to find out they were closing for the season. So most of the amenities weren’t available. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. If you buy their coffee mug this is the deal. Buy one for $25 or two for $50!! LOL what a DEAL! The owner obviously doesn’t know how that works. We bought one. If you get your reservation through Expedia, you DO NOT get your breakfast included even though you pay $350 a night. That was a little rude. So we were charged $20 each person per day. Most of the time they were out of things so you didn’t get $20 worth of breakfast. Just be mindful of that when you make a reservation through Expedia. You’re penalized for that. Other than that, everything was perfect! Views were amazing.

Our stay was perfect. The room was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the fireplace in the room. We had a massage and it was wonderful as well. Great location. Close to Camden. Breakfast was also very good.

Excellent hotel! Would definitely return. Only gripes is electric went out late at night around 11pm or midnight. Then fire alarm sounded in the morning. No one instructed us that it was a drill or what needed to be done. I was just getting out of the shower and my husband went to front desk but no one was present to direct Traffic or to provide instruction.

This inn is beautiful inside and out. Everything about it serves to make one feel calm and peaceful. The staff were kind and competent. The room felt luxurious yet also calming.

Beautiful view and quaint Inn. Friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub. Good location to Camden. A bit outdated in the room. Carpet looked tired. However I’d probably return.

Booked last minute awesome getaway

Very comfortable king bed in newly renovated large room with balcony and ocean view. Loud air conditioner, so consider preconditioning your room, then turning off AC at night with only overhead fan on. Excellent made to order breakfasts overlooking grounds, pool, and ocean.

The hotel was amazing. Hotels.com was the worst. They took my money and There was no reservation. Worst website. Never again. I don’t recommend Hotels.com

Absolutely gorgeous views! Beautiful grounds and property.

EVERYTHING!! Only downfall was we only had one night! And the beach on the ocean is a typical “Maine rocky coast” but it was still beautiful!

We booked this hotel based on the pictures of the grounds & pool, and it was even better in person. Loved all the seating options by the bay and lounge chairs around the pool. View from our second floor hillside room was beautiful. Onsite breakfast was lovely and the server was incredibly friendly. Self service beverages by the pool was much appreciated. They reached out before arrival regarding special requests, which was much appreciated and there was a handwritten note in the room. Given we were there for a special occasion, a small amenity would have been a nice touch, so that was a missed opportunity. Overall it was a lovely stay, but a bit on the pricey side.

Nice grounds; comfortable room. Glad windows opened as I liked listening to the ocean waves. Very noisy room with people right out side yacking it up!!

This property is one of a kind. The pool is steps away from the ocean. The property offers wonderful outside sitting areas.
