I was in Franklin for a couple nights in between travel. It’s a beautiful little town. Location was super convenient to highways. Staff was friendly and helpful. Updates on the horizon but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. I will stay again if I find my way in this neck of the woods again.

Convenient location, but pretty dilapitated and out dated. Noisy neighbors upstairs stomping around and didn't sleep well. Sheets were pretty ratty but i guess you get what you pay for

Room was clean and decently maintained/updated. However there were flies everywhere in the room to the point we did not use any of the towels or shower or anything in the room. If flies were not there I would give it a 4 stars, as everything was good not exceptional.
Also pet fees for conditions of rooms are a bit high if you have a pet, more than the $30 their website says.

Waited 10mins before anybody came to check me in...ac barely worked, the refrigerator didnt work made the room smell after opening it...

DO NOT BOOK!!! Absolute garbage fire of a stay. Booked same day because our travel plans changed and we needed somewhere cheap. We weren’t able to arrive until 10pm. It’s my acct but I don’t have a debit card currently, so my mother came inside to pay with hers. First the jerk at check in gave us soooo much trouble. Rolling his eyes, scoffing and saying he wishes he could’ve canceled our reservation before we got there!! He tried to talk us out of the booking even!! He kept pressing the question about if we had pets with us, which we didn’t… just because I had a “dog mom” shirt on. He kept snidely saying that we’d “better tell him now or he will charge us for everything he can”. It’s 1030pm and I just want to sleep!! Finally we got to the room and were shocked… the door is a residential lock and key and the A/C unit didn’t work properly. The whole room was dirty and grimy. Then as I’m taking a shower, TWO ROACHES came up thru the drain!!!! Awful and disgusting… please pay the extra $15-20 to stay somewhere else!!!

At check-in, they charged me almost $7 more than the hotels.com app had said. When I complained, she seemed angry and told me that the app doesn’t put in tax, so they add that in. I later pulled up the email that detailed the room cost plus tax, and showed it to her. She refunded the extra money, but the whole experience seemed sketchy. I won’t be back.

I do not leave reviews normally and understand that I chose a cheap hotel while I was in the area, but I chose it by the reviews that had been left.
This is the nastiest place I have ever stayed at.
My feet got dirty on the laminate flooring in the main room after showering.
When I got the bathroom floor wet after my shower I attempted to wipe up the water and made mud!! The kind gentleman who is running the place claimed he had staffing issues recently… the nasty had been building over a long period of time. I suggested a spring cleaning to go with the excuses that were offered.
Please if you do decide to stay, check the room before you pay! Good luck

Price and location were right. The room needs a dehumidifier. The clean towels felt damp. My jacket as well when I put it on in the morning.

I could not check in. I called the number at the window, and it kept going to a busy signal. I knocked. Waited 5 minutes and kept calling, same busy signal. It wasn't fun having to find a different hotel at 10:45PM. I hope I don't get charged.

Room wasn't quite ready when I arrived, but manager was SUPER friendly and it was ready in minutes. It may not be a Hilton, but for the price, you can't really beat it. A simple, no-frills room for a night.

Interesting property. Seems to cater to hikers in the area. They had a Friday night karaoke event for charities, and it was alternately execrable and excellent (as karaoke often is). Best version of "The Prayer" that Chris and I have ever heard.
The owner was quite friendly on check in, and fine during subsequent encounters.
Be advised, this is a family operation, and if the family goes to eat in town, your phone calls to the desk will go unanswered. We had an oil stained sheet, on check in, that we wanted to be replaced, and they weren't there. But they fixed it that night.
But otherwise, a good place to stay. Overall enjoyed it.

Their website says pets welcome but doesn't state there is an additional fee of $10 dollars per pet per day. The toilet was not secured to the floor. It rocked when sat on. There was no extra toilet paper in the room. Had to ask for it.

I enjoyed the area around the property. As for the staff everyone was pleasant except for the wife she verbally berated me for finding a good deal on their rooms and then put me in the what I believe to be the worst room they had. The sheets were not washed, the plumbing was horrible, and the air conditioner did not work correctly. All in all, this place is not worth staying at.

Manager was very helpful, very considerate, but this hotel is really long in the tooth. The air conditioner didn’t work old fashion keys, which make locking the door difficult no room coffee pot. Everything was in very tough shape. Surprisingly the bedding was an excellent condition but that was the only redeeming factor.

Other than the fixtures in the shower having no guards and literally just coming out of holes in the walls and the front door not sealing on the bottom (found ants in the room though not many) it wasn't that bad, out of habit i walked around in my socks inside the room and they ended up getting much darker grey due to the floors not really being cleaned. But the beds were soft, got extra pillows with no issue because the ones these places have are thin, ac cooled off the room eventually, and the water was warm. The picture in the add is taken behind a locked door you cant get through, you only can speak with the people who run it through a window.

The room was large, but the power was shut off and room was stagnent. Had to ask for power to be turned on. Lobby was locked and not accessible with out phone call. No coffee pot. Did have very good water pressure.

To start the room had ants all round the sink and the house keeping was terrible. We left our room and they didn't come in to take the trash out or put in nee towels my husband had to take it out and ask for new towels. The room was humid even with the air conditioner running and we had to turn it down more just to get cool after being outside in the heat. The best part about the experience is the last at the desk was friendly and very helpful, however they are never actually there and you have to call them to get them to do anything. I was disappointed in the experience and that is the last time I stay there

This is not what I would consider a property that Expedia would even consider being on their website. There was a sign on the door that stated “we are not responsible for any diseases, infection you may catch while on the premises“ the facility looked like it was a crack house. We chose not to stay there, as it looked very unsafe, and the locals stated that, we should not stay there so we chose to go to another location. I tried to call Expedia as we were driving out of the driveway and could not get a representative on the phone and was simply told we would lose our money.
I am hoping that the right thing will be done and you will please consider refunding our money.

The owner was very friendly and made great conversation. Its an older motel, so it wasn't in the best of shape, but you can tell they are working on things around there. The floor, sink, shower and toilet were clean. It was quiet around the area.

this hotel was in renovation so not great but we have stayed in worse. I filled out a survey on our last day around midday and said the door knob needed replaced. After a long day rock hounding we are in bed at 9 PM to watch a movie when management knocks on the door and shoves their phone in our face wanting to know why we complained. Very unprofessional. The price is right but we won't be staying there again.
