The room was so much larger than i expected, it was wonderful! The window was also easy to open, which was much appreciated. Fresh milk on the landing, and fresh coffee in the room. Fabulous bath! All staff very helpful and friendly, even phoned me to tell me i had left my Kindle!

We walk to Totnes from Dartmouth most weeks so we decided to stay for a night .
It didn’t disappoint.

What a great find, ideally situated by the river dart. Comfortable nights sleep, lovely room, amazing breakfasts and friendly atmosphere.

The Inn is situated on the river in a quiet and scenic part of the town. The rooms were even nicer than anticipated and the staff went over and above to respond to requests. Overall a great quality service that felt very homely

Friendly and welcoming, clean and and well maintained.
Nice contrast between traditional areas and modern 'boutique'styled bedroom. The bathroom was particularly good, spacious with a new walk in shower.
We would choose to stay here again if in S. Devon.

Can not recommend this hotel enough. The staff were so polite & helpful. The food was amazing & great value for money & the room was stunning. I can not wait to return to enjoy & simply relax. Absolutely fantastic.

Great location in Totnes, room & bed quite small, central heating not working and bathroom window jammed open, there was a portable heater which did provide adequate heating. The shower didn’t want to turn off after use, so it took some fiddling to stop the water running, and bathroom wasn’t cleaned after our first night. I feel for the price of the room breakfast should have been included.

The stay was lovely hotel great only one thing we got to the car and the hotel said you haven’t paid your bill so we had to go back the hotel and pay hotel. Com souls of taken the money out all ready it was very embarrassing

A beautifully tranquil riverside setting, with glorious views, comfortable accommodation, excellent cuisine and friendly and efficient staff. Close to all amenities.

What a lovely stay! The room was fantastic, clean and really well decorated. The lady that greeted us late on Friday was so nice and really helpful. If anyone is intending on staying in Totnes don’t look any further!

Amazing quaint hotel right on the river. Staff was super friendly! The bed was so comfortable and the bathtub was huge and wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

We have absolutely nothing bad to say - excellent service. The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. The room was lovely and very clean and the food was super. We are looking forward to the next time we visit Totnes and stay there already.

A 2 day break, very welcoming check in, we were in room 6 on the top floor, a nearly new family suite. Very tastefully decorated, large bright room, Lovely roll top bath. Only let down was the pressure of the shower.
Restaurant had a small menu choice, food and service was excellent. Breakfast was large, couldn't manage it all.
Would stay again.

We had a fabulous time staying at Steam Pocket. We stayed in the family suite , with two bedrooms. The suite was recently renovated and was spotless. The staff were friendly and attentive. Really recommend their restaurant too, delicious food.

We really enjoyed our recent stay in the steam packet and would highly recommend it! The accommodation was clean, the staff were so friendly and the food was brilliant. Can’t wait to return back to Totnes and will definitely stay again at the Steam Packet.
