Nice view Walking distance to many restaurants

Great location and large rooms. No elevator.

The loft is well decorated and very convenient. We would definately come back again. The « coup de cœur » of a two weeks trip.

What a wonderful place to experience Lunenburg. I can’t say enough nice things - great staff, comfortable and well appointed room, clean!

Unbeatable views from top floor suites. Lots of space, somewhat dated but clean.

Everything about the inn and the restaurant was wonderful. Best seafood chowder ever and the room was spacious with incredible water views. The only drawback was the three flights of stairs to climb.

The room was very clean and provided us with everything we needed for a short tip to Lunenburg. The new of the harbour was a highlight. Check in and out was seamless.

I was travelling with my elderly father and the staff was so incredibly helpful. The location is perfect. Our room looked into the water and Bluenose II.

Amazing view, the staff was very helpful and gave us a late checkout upon request with no hassle. Easy relaxing stay close to everything. I would stay here again.

Nice harbour view!

Receive a text prior to arrival welcoming us …thank you Kyle. Had our best seafood chowder during our holiday at the restaurant. Our waitress, Kristin, was top notch. Amazing service. The pictures online did not do our room justice. We could not have a better view. You can’t beat waking up and having a clear view of the water …it was like glass. Definitely will be coming back again.

What a view! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. While room was a bit outdated it was clean and comfortable. Did I mention the view? Bay windows overlooking the harbour. The restaurant was good and there are lots of other options around for variety.

The Dockside is a very welcoming place with a great view of the Lunenburg waterfront. Being an older building it has a few quirks, but the overall experience is about as good as it gets.

I have stayed in Lunenburg twice now and the Dockside Inn and Restaurant is the ONLY place I will stay now. The charm, friendliness, location, vibe and comfort are everything here. Prior to my arrival, Kyle was extremely helpful with organizing some stuff for my moms 70th birthday and they went over and above with what I was expecting. Just amazing. We stayed in room 1 over looking the ocean and it was spacious, cozy, had everything we needed. Only thing it could have had was some towel hooks and some ice cube trays. But it by far was not a deal breaker. Can’t wait to stay in a different room in a few days when we make our way back!!

Very friendly staff.

It’s an old building but has been taken care by the owners / operators. Location is great. Free parking is minimum available, a hit or miss, common in Lunenburg, but, there is full day paid parking at very short distance.

The staff and room were amazing!...the restaurant and food were also amazing!...extremely fresh seafood and expertly cooked. Prices were very fair seeing where its located and the views from our room overlooking the harbor and boats was priceless...we'd highly recommend the Dockside to anyone wanting a very quaint and enjoyable stay while in Lunenburg Rooms 1 and 2 have spectacular views ! Great view, but very dated and restaurant was closed due to lack of staff

The Dockside Inn was the perfect location for our crew! We really enjoyed the accommodations, the food and the service! We will be back for sure. A great location in a beautiful town! Thanks for hosting us.
