Very basic. Convenient for the train station and the city centre. Wifi weak and intermittent.

Be warned, stay here ONLY if you HAVE to. Cheap and Very Very Basic, on the verge of nasty. Do not recommend.
Given the wrong room , took a lot of work by me to sort the issue, as the reception worker had zero idea how to work in a hotel. Pay a little extra to stay elsewhere , you will thank me later.
Got a room in the end that was not ready. ( what a circus ).
Front door of hotel does not lock , so we were told the reception was open all night ( maybe it was open , but the receptionist was sleeping )

Convenient location from the railway station and not far to the city centre on foot.
The rooms are fine.
Note that you have to call the owner on your phone when you arrive. No one works at the reception.
The price is OK, but almost everything is charged extra; breakfast, towel, even WiFi (although I was not charged, I don't know if I just got lucky?). The registration form asks for credit card data in case you smoke for which the penalty is €100 (I refused to give that information as I am a non-smoker).
The shared bathroom smelled badly after 2 days, and the bad smell stayed for the last 3 days of my stay.
I only saw someone working for the hotel very briefly once. It is not a nice place to stay, but generally OK.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Room was bigger than I expected. Hotel is easy to find. There is shops close by.

In a modern world WI-FI for 2 EUR - give us a break... and towels too. Well - friend of us from Turku brought us towels and we used WI-FI at the EOU conference at the University. We also helped our German colleague of us staying in the next room to find coffee the first morning into the next supermarket. value for price? Well some other hostels in Turku provided towels and it WAS possible to order breakfast AT THE moment of booking - why not to make that possible by one more click?

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the city centre, and is also only 2 blocks from the station. Door handle was coming off the shared bathroom door. Bed was comfortable.
