Host was wonderful as was breakfast. Shared area and bathroom outside room, having to go through common area was unexpected and we felt uneasy. Room and facility was in need of work and a/c, fridge were noisy.

We had an amazing 1 night stay. Our hostess was amazing with her dedication to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her communication with us before, during and after the stay was incredible.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our morning breakfast included everything to make it a healthy meal.

The host was amazing. She met me in the parking lot even before my check-in time since I was parking there earlier in the morning. She was incredibly friendly and helpful with pointers on where to go and what to do. Room is cozy and quaint. I would highly recommend staying here.

Where to begin - Dawn makes you feel like you're at home! Room was wonderful. We had the Black Sheep Room which was very comfy even with our private washroom opposite the room! We were able to walk everywhere, small beach and quay for a swim, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacy (if needed). Auberge a wonderful place to chill where Dawn allows us access to a firepit in the evening, a hammock in the yard, as well as a sunny patio to have our yummy breakfast. Designer sandwiches were the most delicious I've had! Thank you Dawn - we'll be back to Auberge Mon Petit Chum!

Small kitchen in our room which was nice but it needs a light over the sink area. Keurig coffee maker would only pump out less than a half a mug of coffee, but that didnt bother us too much, perhaps I didn't operate it properly? Comfy Bed, big smart TV, and the boxed breakfast was delicious.

Although tricky provincial lockdown polices kept throwing roadblocks, Dawn kept pace finding solutions for us that helped us have a happy New Years! We’re already missing those (included) delicious breakfasts that Dawn whipped up daily to accommodate our dietary needs, but all the more reason to come back soon!

Dawn, the hostess, is particularly charming and serviceable; she helped find some amazing restaurants. She also took special attention to the Covid cleaning protocols, so we felt safe.

Unique decorations, very comfortable stay. We felt right at home as there was an equipped kitchen galley with crockery and utensils, microwave and a fridge. Hostess also kindly stocked the room with milk, coffee and tea, and even a chocolate kiss on the pillows! The suite had its own upper deck and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

Dawn’s B&B was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. She is so welcoming and helpful. Our studio was larger than what we expected and was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. It is really a lovely place in a beautiful village! We highly recommend it!

Very well located near the main street of Wakefield and walking distance from lake and restaurants. The host Dawn was very friendly, helpful and hospitable! Suite was perfect for our needs with comfortable bed and little kitchen! Would definitly recommend and stay there again!

Great hospitality and within walking distance to the nice little town with a French bakery and nice restaurants overlooking the river.. Very close to Gatineau Park that offers superb skiing ,skating and hiking opportunities.Owner serves a wonderful breakfast and provides lots of helpful information on the area.
