Great staff and great atmosphere

Nice place and staff. Small room, lacking a safe or small refrigerator but multiple USB ports and wireless chargers. Short walk to the center. Arrived before check-in but they let us leave our bags. When we got back they had already taken them up to our room.

Hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay. Clean and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. We arrived late and the communication about how to check in was clear and straightforward. Would recommend.

Very clean, comfortable room. Nice soft cotton duvet. Entire property absolutely spotless. Very well maintained. Excellent black out shades which also cancelled any noise from street (street isn’t noisy anyway). Comfortable bed. Easy to use TV. Easy check-in. Excellent response time to inquiries, very professional, helpful staff, especially in helping me get bus to train station. You can stay in old town (potentially very noisy) or here at Le Manoir - a 10-15 minute walk to old town in a quiet residential neighborhood near a park. I’m glad I chose the quiet option because I needed it to adjust to time zone. The distance to old town would have been easy on a Yelo bike share but I couldn’t register due to cell phone problem. There is a bus stop right in front of Le Manoir that will take you train station. One disappointment is that when I asked about walking tour the hotel gave me a pamphlet for a company that was slow to respond. I visited tourist office the next day and learned there is ONE group walking tour in English everyday at 10:30am and I had missed it. Also know that there is a big taxi shortage in La Rochelle, be prepared to bike (Yelo bike share), walk (20 minutes)or take public bus from and to train station.

First class hotel and restaurant. Our room had a balcony that allowed us to more fully experience the majestic scenery. One of a kind place. Would love to come back.

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of the city with a nice walk into the centre. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had amazing choice of pastries and cold meats/ cheese etc.

Nice property though location is not ideal for proximity to water, restaurants and other venues. Did not have breakfast at hotel as it was not a particularly good value and there was an excellent boulangerie across the street. Room was nicely appointed, immaculate and the ac worked well, which was very welcome during a heat wave.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Minor error with booking but this was solved with the hotel reception person, who was extremely professional and friendly. Beautiful building and parking was no problem.

Beautiful building from the outside and same inside; location is ideal if you like a quieter spot. 10’ walk through a park brings you in the heart of the city, we enjoyed that! Rooms are small but have everything you need, bed was very comfortable.

Lovely property, really warm welcome from staff, very helpful with excellent English and so good with my 7 yr old daughter. We’d asked for an extra bed, but was a little surprised that it was an extra 15€ . The room was lovely and great that we had air conditioning. Only a short walk into the centre of the town. Overall a lovey little hotel.

Spacious room in good location and free parking. Excellent service from the front desk where the 2 ladies couldn’t do enough for us and were very helpful. We would certainly return.

Wonderful small hotel with perfection in service, cleaniness and all other aspects that one could think. We spent three nights there and are more than happy.

Wonderful, recently refurbished boutique hotel close to the old port and shopping area, all supported by first class service. The bedroom was super clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, clean and the shower was amazing. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
