Very easy to get a key after the chick-in time

The place in itself is really nice and close to the Ubahn, the main problem are the tenants/people living there. I had a terrible experience and could not sleep for the 2 nights I have stayed there. There are mainly working men from Eastern Europe living there (Romanians, Bulgarians, Polish, Hungarians). They slam all doors throughout all day and night, scream in the halls and talk loudly all the time. The worst part was the bathroom: they do not shut the door to the cabins when thry pee, so as a woman I felt very unconfortable in there. They also pee on the floor in the woman's cabin and the entire bathroom smells of urine. Wouldn't advise any woman to stay here. Better spend a bit more money on a hotel with private bathroom.

There are game room in underground room, and some group playing games till late at night. Also always noisy with closing doors and someone's loud voice talking. Condition, location was perfect for me, but I think there are no manners for users. But understandable, it's cheap accomondation.

Messe, where the hostel is situated, is the last stop of the Nuremberg metro system, 15 minutes to the Central Station, but 5 minutes from the hostel to the U1 metro station. The room is clean, but plain, looking like student accommodation, with a big basin inside at least. No blinds, so the sunlight will wake you up early in the morning. I may suggest that the hostel provide bigger shower rooms with more facilities to make the hotel more humane. Very bad shower experirence in the shower room even though the public areas in the hotel look spacious.

The receptionist was very helpful. Grocery store and train station within 3 minute walk. Good value for the money.

Communication was bad. Self check in. I got the key at the entrance but I wasn't informed about my room number.Very noisy!There was kitchen but no cutlery at all.Good point?. Just the location, close to a train station

Quite good, clean and nice place

The service is the best! Even we arrived later than the reception opening time, the guy working for reception still came quickly and help us for checking in. I will definitely choose this hostel again.

There is not the first time at the A1 Hostel Nürnberg. When I come to Nurnberg, I book this hostel. I am very happy with late check-in with a key box.

The ticket to the city centre and back will cost you 6.20 € which makes it on par with other hostels in Nürnberg in the very centre of the city. The area of the hostel looks like an Eastern European city suburb with apartment buildings. The walls are thin and you can be bothered by loud people wel until the early morning. We were given bedsheets with bloodstain on them! Definitely worth to pay a bit more for a nicer hostel.

Clean hostel, no atmosphere but close to train your train station

Good value for money. The room was very clean. There were two sinks as well as fresh linen and towels. Several rooms share 1 bathroom so you do have to wait for you turn. Our room was next to the bathroom and I was woken up about 5 times during the night from people going into it, closing the door, etc.
