Charming antique property right in the heart of the old city! The rooms are simple and tastefully decorated. The pool is small but a welcome treat in the Cartagena heat. There was a brownout during our stay that lasted about an hour, not the hotel's fault but something to be considered staying in this area. Also, prepare to hear music from the nearby bars and restaurants until at least 11 P.M. or so. For a reasonable fee, breakfast was home-cooked, fresh, and delicious.

Very nice colonial style hotel. Hotel is cozy and staff is very friendly. Location is perfect! everything is within walking distance restaurants, bars, bakeries, supermarket, etc. Hotel is on a quiet block making it perfect for a good night sleep. Hotel has everything you need A/C, hot water, toiletries, etc. if you are looking for a quiet place yet near by everything in the wall city this is the place for you. Hotel even has a small pool where you can hang out and relax and a 24hrs attendant.

The hotel is great but right next to it there is a hostel that blasts music from 8PM to midnight. One would normally be put, but if it is that one night that you are tired and want to rest, it becomes a nightmare. The personnel could not be more friendly though! Very nice people

Staff was friendly, but the air conditioning didn't work well. Good luck staying in tropical heat with no A/C.

Cute boutique hotel with courtyard pool and basic rooms. Staff very friendly and breakfast included. Would return.

When we arrived to the hotel we waited about three minutes for the staff to open the door to the hotel (it was locked). The hotel room was very hot so my friend and I left to get something to eat while the AC ran a bit. When we came back to the hotel the room was very hot (after being gone two hours). I was very sick and the staff had called a man to come fix the ac but he had no luck. I was sick with a fever and had to be in a place with ac so unfortunately, we had to book a room at another hotel. Furthermore, while waiting for the man to fix the ac, I was bitten four times while laying on the bed. When looking to see what it was, a mosquito flew out from under the pillow.

Although the location is very good the hotel isn't comfortable. No lift and very narrow stairs to go up with your luggage. Old furnitured and not well equipped rooms. Very kind staff.

We stayed Friday through Sunday. Friday and Sunday we had no electricity. It was a problem with the hotels electricity, not the citys electricity. No lights or air conditioning makes for a very uncomfortable stay 2 out of 3 days. No discount was offered.

Greatness all around... situated in the heart of cartagena. Walking diatance to all the nice bars and restaurans. Laundry nearby. Friendly staff, allowed us to check in a little early. Great breakfast. Ill be going back for sure

The hotel is probably in the best location within the walled city so its easy to just go round the corner and find any restraunts or activities. The staff were outstanding. So friendly and a great team of problem solvers!

A true gem. Nothing too fancy but full of charm. The staff was tops. Very accomodating and helpful. The cook arrived early on the day i was leaving to make me breakfast. I cant wait to go back. Truly low key and relaxing.

I just slept there before heading to the airport. Ok breakfast, helpful staff that booked a cab for me. Rooms are large.

It could have been great if they leave the AC on. The minute that you leave they turn it off. Even when we ask them to keep it cold they didnt. They should not call it a boutique, The room was upstairs and it was a circular staircase, impossible to go up or down with luggage. On the plus side the room was clean, the key did not work, we had to call the person in charge to get the room open, he sort of fix it but still did not work. And when the AC worked for a while it cooled down the room eventually. We expected a boutique hotel not just a hotel called boutique. The location was great

Amazingly, this place actually looked like it did on the internet.We were lucky enough to get one of the 2 larger rooms. I understand that the other 2 were very small with low ceilings.We enjoyed our two weeks and felt like it was home. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a nice breakfast every day in the lovely courtyard which was open to the air.

The hotel, whilst very nice, is very overpriced and only 2 doors from the largest backpackers hostel in the Old City and another one across the road. No sleep the first night due to very loud noise. Hotels.com quoted the total price we were required to pay at the hotel, but on check out they insisted we pay an additional hotel fee or tax of some kind. Young staff very nice and helpful but we had to keep asking for a plunger to unblock the toilet. There were 2 bicycles for our use which was great.

It's in a great location in the old city and is within a 10 minute walk of everything in the old city, including several fantastic restaurants within 2 blocks, plaza san Diego in 3 blocks, and two Exito supermarket 2 blocks away. The room I was assigned was rather spartan. No decorations on walls, just a small stone room with a very hard uncomfortable bed, one big wardrobe, and a dismal bathroom. The rooms are equipped with AC/heat pumps units, which are essential in Cartagena due to the heat and humidity. The ceiling fan spun insanely fast, with no option to slow it down. I was worried it would fly off the ceiling. The rooms are also equiped with tiny safes, which hold maybe a cell phone and a passport. The safe however constantly glitched out, the set codes did not work the next morning. I had to ask the hotel staff on a daily basis for the safe key. The bathrooms were in bad shape. Horrible CFL lighting, dingy tile, toilets missing seats, junky showerheads with exposed live wires connected to the showerhead (which evidently heats the water).

It was a last minute booking as the other hotel i had booked was a complete mess. They were polite and responsive within minutes and have hot water showers which seems to be a luxury in Cartagena
