Very friendly staff. Great view of the ocean and spa was nice.

Overleaf Lodge was perfect for a night at the coast while on a long trip across the country! The room was great, we had first floor ocean front, walk right out the door and down a trail to the rocks with waves crashing in! Breakfast was very nice, beds comfy, nice area with microwave, coffee maker and some “kitchen” essentials. We would stay again for sure!

The property is right on the ocean and the property is nice. The hotel is very old, guessing it was built in 1950’s, but has been remodeled so it wasnt too bad. They only do house keeping if you stay for 5 or more days and they only clean once. So eqch night we had to go to the front desk for clean glasses and/or towels. The breakfast is terrible they serve it to you and you have to reserve a time the day before and you must be there within 15 min of your reservation! If I am on vacation, the last thing that I want is to schedule breakfast! There is really only 1 option for breafast, such as spinach and mushroom soufflé tgat was very over cookedNo screen in the window, no air conditioning, the patio door was broke. There was mold on the tub.

Exceptional facility, great location, great breakfast.

This was our second time here and loved it just as much as the first time! Spacious rooms- plenty of room for us and our two teens.

Beautiful property and amazing views! Love that you can hear and see the waves crashing from your room. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was a welcome surprise. I would definitely stay at the Overleaf for future stays.

Loved that it is oceanfront and all the rooms face the ocean. Jacuzzi in room with ocean view. Fireplace in room also. Spa on site ! Included with stay. Steam room. Sauna. Heated pool has oceanfront view ! Hot tub fabulous ! No chlorine smell !!! Facial and massage are available for $$$. They were well worth the $$$ Staff were all courteous and fab breakfast included every morning. This place gave me a reset for my soul and body. Oh and right on the 401 hiking trail too!!

What a wonderful experience at Overleaf! Beautiful hotel in Yachats, OR overlooking the ocean with convenient walking paths and benches along the way. Rooms are large with two comfy swivel rocking chairs. Delicious complimentary breakfast served in lovely dining room with ocean view and a roaring fire in the fireplace. Hope to come back one day.

Very nice and clean place. The pool, hot tub, massage, and sauna, are very nice and is a reason we booked; however, those were closed on two of the days we stayed there (might be due to the spring hours... not sure). Breakfast is served cafeteria style only. The plus is the view of the ocean, however, and the beach is excellent.

This property is amazing with its closeness to the ocean! Your staff is doing a great job at maintaining the property while offering fair room prices!

It was everting we rxpected

After multiple visits I found the same superior room. The spa was lovely and all areas well kept. My one disappointment was the breakfast. Precovid choices were well above par. Now the service and food quality were sad and disappointing. Eggs consistently rubbery, potato choices we cold and tough. Fruit and yogurt were similar but the pastry choices were unworthy of the establishment. Not wag at I remembered at all. I’ve had better breakfasts at motel 6s!

We loved the Overleaf. We felt pampered from the moment we arrived and saw our beautiful room with the Pacific Ocean right outside our door. It was the most stunning view with a little patio and lots of wild life including birds, bald eagles and bunny rabbits. The landscape was gorgeous. The hot tubs in the spa were spacious and the views from the large hot tub were mesmerizing. We weren’t terribly impressed by the breakfast but it was served in a lovely setting by wonderful staff and it was enough to sustain us for the next leg of our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and I hope we get the chance to do so for a longer stay.

Beautiful location!! The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hote is very clean, friendly and interactive. They stay up on everything and the spa (Michelle was sooo great) is amazing! The room was nice but kinda of ordinary for the price - I went from 2 queens in 1st floor to 2 queens in 3rd floor and they bumped my price by $160 for my stay!! That I feel was wrong but we were there already so I didn’t have a choice - I booked through hotels.com and requested higher floor to begin with. But that being said I don’t thing the rooms make up a difference for the pricing so I’d likely stay somewhere else in future. The breakfast is a sign up time when you check in and it wasn’t so great - the people were fruendly but the French toast was hard and cold (last 2 pieces) and the eggs were hot but very rubbery. I’d rather have buffet style where you pick and choose instead of being timed. The beds were quite comfy too - we didn’t use the tv at all so I can’t comment on those and the bathroom was very clean with great water pressure.

When checked in, we both got the vibes that the check in employee didn't think we belonged there. My husband is Hispanic, so hopefully not the reason, She lightened up as she spoke to us though. Could be a little friendlier. Other staff were exceptional. The hotel outweighed the negatives. Beautiful view and very quiet. Alarm clock was preset by someone very early and then kept going off which was annoying, and the shower head was set to point out of the bath/shower to the door entrance which sucked when we didn't notice and turned it on but other than that great accommodations and better than average complimentary breakfast.
