Great cute little place…

Our room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The surroundings were pleasant; there was a nice sitting area directly outside the property. The proximity to the shops, restaurants, and attractions were very convenient.

Check in with Ian was a breeze. We arrived early but our room was ready so we were able to check in and freshen up. The 2 room suite was cute, comfy and very homey. We had the best nights sleep of our entire trip. The bed, the pillows and the bedding were perfect. Location is great, easy walk to everything.

We had a lovely stay at the Chestnut House and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Nantucket. The location was perfect since it was centrally located in the town and in walking distance to so many shops, restaurants and attractions. The room was clean and cozy and the staff was always available to answer our questions. We loved how they provided beach items like towels and umbrellas.

Great service

This house hotel was wonderful. It was centrally located so that we could easily walk to many restaurants, shops, etc. We rented bikes for most of our stay and were able to lock them up on the property. They provided beach towels for us and have other beach needs available for use as well. They gave us an hour late checkout since we were having a hard time saying goodbye to the island. They also have an area to hold your storage if you need to check out before your flight departure. My only wish was that there was a window AC in the main living area of the room as well and that the fold out bed was more comfortable, because we had sleepers in that room, but otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect!

This was our first time on Nantucket, and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more! The Chestnut House was so central to everything in town and close to all the WAVE bus stop locations. The suite we stayed in was perfect for all of our needs. It was clean, roomy, and decorated nicely. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking at visiting Nantucket!

Beautiful place to stay!

We (a family of 3 with a young child) stayed at the Chestnut House for a weekend during the off-season. It was a lovely stay. The location is convenient, the staff friendly, the rooms clean and nicely decorated, and we loved the upstairs library. We will be back hopefully next spring!

It was very convenient to downtown and to restaurants.

Ian and his Aunt are down to earth and very easy. Check in was a breeze and we came and went as we pleased with no interruptions. I cannot wait to book this stay again!

This was a really nice little hotel. Located in the very center of Nantucket town. Our room was like a small suite and really cozy. Clean and nice. We can really recommend this hotel.

The Chestnut House inn is in a great location. Quiet side street (we were here in early June so before high season). Places to eat all around for all meals. Easy 5 min walk from ferry docks. We really appreciated that we could leave our overnight bags there and explore Nantucket until our room was ready. The bathroom was small but had all the necessities; the sofa bed was reasonably comfortable (other person stayed in the queen bed); liked that there was both AC and also that the windows could be opened to leave a nice cross breeze coming through the room. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was well kept and clean, lots of plants & flowers. It is an older house type lodging. The room and living room were spacious and well kept. The bathroom was small so some people may have some difficulty with movement.

I totally enjoyed my visit to Nantucket and stay at the Chestnut House. The Hostess was friendly and made my stay rewarding.

Adorable place

Chestnut house was great! The room is a whole suite with living room and separate bedroom and an en suite bathroom. Bed was super comfy. There was also a fridge and several closets.

Wonderful stay at Chestnut… we were able to check in early… we were close to everything. Town is a 5 minute walk.:: only issue was the bed… way to soft…we will be back again… soon!!!
