Never been rehabbed since the hurricane. The elevators don't even work. Lots of long term people living there. Lots of exposed wires and rusty things. VERY OLD and just needs about $1,000,000 worth of remodeling.

The staff is awesome. location is great ..its an older hotel but was very clean affordable and directly on the ocean ..we enjoyed our stay and will return again soon

They were the greatest we had a blast. From the pool to the ocean view to the staff. Everyone was so nice. We will be back and stay again.

Price of room was great!! My room was very outdated but I didn’t mind. Room needed a lot of attention, repairs etc. I didn’t mind because of the fact I got room at such a great deal and hotel is directly on the beach. Pool was very clean and overlooked the ocean. What I have a problem with is that the air conditioner did not work in my room nor did the ceiling fan which made my stay in the room very uncomfortable. Called office & they said they would send maintenance man. Told them I wasn’t in my room but I had not problem with him going inside while I was out to fix air conditioner. He didn’t. Other than that I enjoyed my time there & will be back. But I will make sure my room has a/c.

3rd floor room- elevator broken. Sink in bathroom doesn't drain...hot water valve fell off while I'm in the shower-what if that was my young kid in there getting scalded??

We had a wonderful time … it’s an older hotel so it needs some up keep, but for what I paid for it the place was well worth the stay , the stove eyes need to be replaced because one was broken and one of the small ones didn’t work at all but that didn’t stop us from cooking . It was clean and the pool was wonderful, location was amazing and the Staff was friendly and very helpful . Jason was working and I was struggling with trying to connect to the internet so he came down to my room and helped us out we couldn’t get my computer to ever connect so he went and called someone to try and get me some help since I was having to work a few hours a day on my computer. I appreciate him very much even though we couldn’t get it to work he went far and beyond. I went somewhere and got connected to work a few hours a day then came back to the room and enjoyed my family. I saw all the reviews and was totally prepared for whatever was to come as long as it didn’t have bugs and was clean the rust on the fridge wasn’t a problem it’s the outside and didn’t hurt anything on the inside. a little paint chipping no harm to us . The bathroom was clean and air worked great . I’m very blessed for this place because me being a single woman on disability raising a 10 year old grandson who needs and deserves a vacation after working so hard at school all year. He loves the Beach and I was so excited that we could stay on the beach . They also let me be on the bottom floor which also was a blessing.

I absolutely love this place. It is cute and old style, there was kitchen bathroom 2 beds a chair tv. Slide door for the patio and easy access to the parking lot and Ed getting else. The actual front door was accessed by way of the garden scape with easy access to the pool, the built in large community grill tables and games. The only disappointment I had was the very first impression, the table was sticky and the floor was dirty but not by appearance, it looked clean. I do feel that they should vacuum the sliding rails on the sliding door though it was filled with sand when we got there and I swept it out to use the door easier. After that sale on the beach you just expect so that was on us. I was under the impression I’d have a couch in my room which I did not but oh well… honestly though I just love that place and hope to go stay there again.

Paid for balcony ocean view was unable to use the balcony the door was broken and when my husband went to open it the top half open and then slammed shut right on his shoulder causing him to dislocate his shoulder and the staff would not provide a refund or anything. It was a holiday of July and all the other hotels were booked so we were stuck. We had no choice but to stay and the bed was basically broken and caved in in the middle we had leave early and that’s when we had to rush to the hospital.

This is an old hotel, not very well maintained. But the pool is nice and clean. The location is great.

Door was so hard to open and close wife couldn’t even enter or exit the room alone. Freezer didn’t freeze. Only two burners worked on the stove. Roaches and their nest all in the kitchen and bathroom. No hot water. Drug paraphernalia in the parking lot. Crack pipe. Elevator didn’t work. Laundry room didn’t work.

The office staff is great and always make us feel welcome 😊

Horrible. AC didnt work in the 3 different rooms they gave me. Said oceanview which isnt true. Room smelled musty and the sliding glass doors didnt work, all broken and off track.

Stayed about three weeks. We had a lovely time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
While this is an older hotel, you can simply not beat the pool and beach.
We look forward to staying here again.

To Do:
Fix the elevator. Not cool having to go up multiple flights of steps during a week long stay. Especially during check in/check out.
Maintain the AC units. Had ours down to 65 just to moderate the room temp to approx 76-78.
Pest control. We killed 5 roaches in our room the first 2 days. If you’re only a monthly service, might want to step that up to weekly.
Room service should have been more than 2 nights of 5 that we were there. We had to put our bags of trash outside by the door in hopes it was a clue that we needed service & more trash bags. Nope. First 2 nights only.
Doors entering rooms need replaced or shaved down due to the swelling caused by weather conditions. I bruised my hand by having to aggressively open and close the door.
The price paid through a 3rd party matched the overall basic facility, however this was still a win because the room was spacious & had a kitchenette. Most rooms with the exception of the first floor have balconies & you still get a decent view of the ocean if you don’t mind it including the parking lot or other buildings. The location is close to a lot of businesses & has direct access to the beach.
Updating the interior would be a bonus so the rooms don’t smell musty & mattresses/bedding could be more comfortable. The fridge was wobbly but clean as was the microwave. The bathroom was clean upon arrival also.
The exterior could use a fresh coat of paint & the grounds could use more up-keeping like mowing by the pool area.

The hotel was in very very poor shape. Shower didnt work. Water can in room during rain in middle of night. Refrigerator looks very unsanitary. We realize it was a good price but not worth it. Balcony door broken, hard to open. Chair in room had stains and shouldn't even been in room.

Staff was friendly, the hotel is old and is not maintained well, everything would appear to be original therefore barely working. The health conditions are just unbelievable there is mold on the beds and curtains, open outlets, you cannot open and close the slider to the balcony without spending a good 20 minutes getting the door to work. The ocean view is a SIDE ocean view, yes there is a difference. It was like camping, if you are okay with roughing it then this place is for you. The view was beautiful regardless. The pool was nice and clean and the price was great. Bring your own towels, sheets, blankets!! Do NOT count on the couch to sleep it is filth, did not even touch it!

SEVERELY DATED NEEDED ALOT OF REPAIRS DONE BEDS AN PILLOWS OLD . MY FRIDGE DOOR OUTSIDE WAS RUSTED NO LOCKS ON DOOR EXCEPT FOR THE DOOR KNOB LOCK. LUCKILY I WAS ON FIRST FLOOR DUE TO THE FACT THE ELAVATOR WAS BROKE. THE BEST THING WAS THE POOL WAS GREAT N THE VIEW OF THE BEACH.

Staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is very old and dingy, the fan didn’t work. The locks for the doors are VERY flimsy and look like they’d give way with one swift kick

We have stayed here many times in the past. Always enjoyed it. Needed updating years ago but was still clean and great for a family with kids. But now it is a different story. The beds were broken, the furniture was filthy, the bedspreads were stained. The room smelled of cigarette smoke that they tried to cover up with air freshner. My son said he felt like he was going to get bugs just from walking around the room. It definitely made you want to take a shower rigth away but not there of course. We left right away and had to find other accomadations. The front desk lady was very nice and u derstanding. But since i had gone through expedia i had to go through thwm for the refund. Well a week later and still no refund. Expedia said they are waiting to hear back from hotel. Call the hotel and there excuse is that they had a fire the week before and they are in the process of refunding those guests so im way down on the list. Dont waste your time booking here. And such a shame it use to be a cool luttle spot.

This is an older hotel. The prices are good. You cannot beat the pool and the ocean is a few steps away. Beautiful view. Thank you Maurice and Hannah .
