Professional and courteous staff. Clean room. Front porch sitting or easy walk to shops. Traffic thru Berkeley Springs is still frustrating, but the Country Inn is worth the hassle.

I liked that there was a spa on site and that is was right in the town. Drawback - no in room microwave

Oh my goodness we really enjoyed our stay here. The three of us came specifically to enjoy using the amenities at the Berkeley State Park Springs and Bathhouses. We enjoyed just walking right over. We enjoyed several very nice meals in the restaurant.

I spent many hours on the road and through two states to visit family. I was unsure as to where to stay because I never been in the area and then I locate at the comfort Inn and it was in my opinion five star, hotel restaurant dining area. Everything was pleasant and very comfortable..

Located in the heart of Berkeley Springs right next to the springs and with its own spa, the Inn is quaint but comfortable with a fine restaurant on site. Within easy walking distance of shops and galleries, there’s ample free parking at the Inn. Pricey but nicey.

Place was nice to stay at. Pretty standard hotel room, but with free little chocolates.no weird hidden charges for anything either. The restaurant attached was nice as well. Good food and ambience.

This is a really beautiful old hotel that's right next to the state park. Staying here was basically my kids' idea of heaven. It was really charming, I especially liked the old-school keys for the doors. My only complaint is that our room was set up for 2 guests: 2 towels, pillows for 2, and two chocolates. We were a group of three, so I had to give my 2 kids the little amenities to avoid a fight breaking out. The restaurant is great but sort of overpriced. Service took forever but was friendly enough, I wonder if this is to be expected when dining after 8pm. The coffee machine also ran out of coffee the morning after our stay, which was a huge bummer. It was overall a great stay but there could have been more attention to detail.

We stopped to break up a long drive home. The staff is very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant. Very nice experience. Berkeley Springs is a sweet little town.

Friendly staff and quick check-in process

Went to Berkeley Springs for a quick overnight trip. Hotel is older building, but we weren’t expecting a modern, over the top experience. Everything was clean, and ac worked very well. The location of this hotel is the best- a few steps from the area with spring water to play and bathe in.

This historic inn provided a great room for the price. Learned there are other rooms on the property with shared bathrooms so be sure when booking to get what you need. And come prepared to do stairs if staying in the historic part of the inn! Also recommend you verify housekeeping will provide daily service —especially on a short stay like mine (two nights) because apparently maid service (towel refresh/making of the bed) does not happen otherwise—I’m not sure what happened. There was no mention of this in the guest info book or at check-in and it didn’t much hamper my enjoyment of the place—I just got in quite late and therefore was not able to bring it to management’s attention before an early check-out.

Perfect location! Clean and quiet room at the West Inn

Property needs tech update ( tv and WIFI), restaurant staff increase and training. Old school is one thing, too much paper is something else, especially when info is incorrect. Helpful , courteous staff are the shining star here.

We come every year for a relaxing weekend in town and love the location and convenience of the Country Inn. My son loves to play the piano in the music room and we love that the pool and baths are right next door. No need to drive anywhere!

Though a little chaotic , wait staff and front desk were the friendliest of the employees. Housekeeping staff and their leader were rude and disrespectful. The television was static's and everything set on he dresser/desk stuck to the paint

Everyone was pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. Really e.joyed my stay.

The room was nice except for the surface of the desk. The paint was extremely tacky and my mouse pad stuck to it. It was so stuck that peeling it off cracked the surface of my mousepad, thus ruining it. Bummer. Staff was excellent, though.

Right next store to the Roman Baths and Spa. Dinner - broiled haddock - for dinner was excellent.

Excellent facility, all amenities readily available, several local attractions are a short walk from the hotel.

The rooms are small and dated, but that may be what you are looking for when you stay in an old, historic hotel. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

The location of this hotel let me enjoy the very best things that Berkeley Springs can offer. The Berkeley Springs state park right beside this hotel offers Roman Bath and variety of spa, and the best upscale restaurant ( Lot 12 Public House) is just 5 minutes walk away. It also has an excellent restaurant within the facility, two top golf courses are within 25 minutes drive. This hotel is a good reason for making my trip to Berkeley Springs regularly.

Great visit!

The Country Inn was charming and perfectly located for our visit to the hot springs bath next door. The staff were polite and accommodating when we arrived a bit early. They allowed us an early check in and I was very grateful. The room was large and airy and the bed was super comfortable. I would gladly stay again.

Not what we expected by the photo’s of the property. It is on a busy noisy road. Restaurant was terrific though.
