Exceeded our expectations.

Property needs renovations and seems a little run down. Our room had a whistling toilet that kept us up the first night and this was after maintenance came 3x to try and fix it . We asked to switch rooms but they didn’t have anything the first night. We were able to switch the second night but they put us on the first floor under the stairs and at 7 am you can tell when everyone was getting ready to go to the mountain because it sounded like elephants over our head. Staff is friendly overall and they lay our blueberry muffins in the morning and cookies and s’mores kits in the afternoon. For a short ski trip it’s a great value but would not stay there for more than 2 nights.

Great proximity to the slopes, very clean, friendly service, great unadvertised perks like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the afternoons and blueberry muffins in the morning. Be aware, property is very dog friendly if you have allergies. Overall, highly recommended.

Our stay was affordable . The staff was kind . Rooms were clean . There was a shuttle bus to the mountain that was so convenient. The mountain was only 1 minute from the hotel . On the go muffins for breakfast were delicious as well as the home baked chocolate chip cookies .

I tried to cancel 5 times with you people, was told 4 different times a manager would call me back, and never received any call. I didnt even show up and you send me a survey. You are all either incompetent or just lazy. Especially Dawn

I loved the blueberry muffins each morning and the chocolate chip cookies in the evening. The jacuzzi was absolutely delightful as well.

This is not a luxury resort and doesn’t claim to be. It is clean, comfortable, convenient, and relatively cheap. I would stay here again if visiting Sunday River.

Close to Sunday River, free shuttle, free cookies, free muffins (so good!) overall very convenient

Location and shuttle service was a key factor in deciding to stay here, the 2 bonus items were a good mattress and 50" (or larger) flat screen in the room, very happy

We stayed here because we had a wedding to attend. I now understand why they were the only available place. Overpriced Motel 6.

Awesome place to stay a night or two if skiing Sunday River.. very close and affordable compared to other options.

The staff was very cordial, helpful and accommodating..

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay and we were able to bring our dog too! Dawn was amazing to work with and made everything so accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!

If you want a place to crash while skiing that is clean, comfy, cookies at night, muffins in morning, outside hot tub.....this place rocks!

Easy and fast check-in. The outdoor hot tub was a pleasant surprise. Check-in pointers for both what time lots fill, and shuttle stops would have been very helpful. But overall nice.

Clean and quiet. Friendly staff. They provide snacks and muffins although it is smaller quantities and if one is not there when it comes out, you are out of luck.

Great place to stay. Felt like home, so cozy and great staff willing to help. Not much food options but there are plenty of places close by to grab a bite. Has a shuttle bus come and take you to the mountain top. Has complimentary coffee and hot coco/tea and occasional cookies and muffins that’s about it. This was my second year staying here and I would so do it again. Rooms are always clean and shower pressure is great.

Inexpensive with outdoor large hot tub and fire pits. Shuttle service from hotel.

The Snow Cap was very close to Sunday River ski resort.

Website should have been upgraded to inform visitors that the Hot Tub was not available. Also, breakfast should be offered by 7:00a. Great blueberry muffins.

We stayed at snow cap second year on the row, and will do it again. Simply comfortable, clean and friendly. Easy shuttle access to the ski area, and local dining.
