Hotel is safe, comfortable and clean. Included breakfast is somewhat lacking. Overall, would stay again.

My husband and I have lived in Ellijay for 16 years , as it has changed so much and got busier we decided to sell up and move , this we did . We needed to go back to Ellijay to sign papers, go to the bank , the normal things when you move . On arrival at the hotel I went to check in , the usual ID was asked for which has my details ……I was then asked for a further $250 as security as I hadn’t had time to change my address on my driving license and I was told by the receptionist I was still classed as local . On reception is a sign stating if you live within 30miles of the hotel you have to pay this deposit in case of damages to the room on departing!!!!

We liked the location and the breakfast. Whoever was in the room next to us made a lot of noise in the evenings.

We were greeted with a high sense of hospitality that just isn't seen very often these days. Much thanks to Carolyn, Candy, and Lorretta for making us feel at home and accommodating our need of an extra bed for our room. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast choices the hotel had to offer.

Great staff, they took there time a found a good room admist the tornadoes the week before.

Staff didn't seem too excited to check us in. It wasn't the nicest hotel i've ever stayed at but it did the job since there were not a lot of options. The area was great though.

Although the room was arranged adequately for handicap access and the toilet and sink were accessible, the handicap accessible shower had only one small grab bar that was not sufficient nor correctly located for the shower head. The shower head, when fixed to the post, would only spray outward, flooding the floor outside the shower. Water temperature was tepid at best. During our second night, the toilet clogged and would not drain. when we contacted the desk, someone came but was unable to eliminate the clog. We were offered the option of relocating to another room or using the public toilet 4 doors down the hall. As it was around midnight, and we were retired for the night, we opted to stay in the room rather than pack up and move, but it was a very awkward arrangement. At check out, we explained the situation to the person who was apparently the manager on duty. Although not unpleasant, she was not terribly sympathetic. She asked if we had been offered a stool for the shower. No, we were not made aware it was an option. I asked if there was a possibility of a discount on the room for the inconvenience. We were given the first name of the owner with a phone number to contact, however, she did not sound encouraging about even being able to contact him.

Beds were super uncomfortable. So hard! Breakfast was good but shorter hours than we are used to. Hotel did not honor the hotels.com rate from when we booked.

Overall, it was a great stay. My only complaint was the check in. The agent was occupied with a customer making a phone reservation so we waited 20 minutes for her to finish, even though we had a prepaid reservation. The facility was clean. The breakfast was decently stocked with good variety of items and the room was very comfortable and quiet.

We were unable to extend our stay an extra night without packing up, checking out, and waiting until late afternoon to check back in, therefore, we only stayed one night. Due to the inconvenience, we went somewhere else.

Went to Ellijay for a business trip and this was perfect for us. We were only in town 2 nights and it was very close to town, and also the vineyards in the area. Having the Walmart for necessities and the restaurants right around the hotel was super convenient. Side note the Pueblo Cantina was delicious right next to the hotel. Included breakfast was also really helpful and did the job and the small shop with supplies and food was a great addition.

Appreciate the area and and easy access to restaurants and most of all friendly people

A very nice property. Clean and comfortable. The free Breakfast was very nice. Free coffee and water all day.

The staff could not of been better trained or more friendly, Seriously the cleanest Hotel we have ever stayed in. The breakfast has a wide choice with a staff member wanting to help with Waffles, or eggs, sausage, and cleaning after every guest. Behind on the hill is a movie theater, we don't have that nice at home. We are going to make a return trip just to stay again.
