The shower curtain was designed to hold water in since it had no liner but it didn't not. There was water on the floor street the showers that were taken. The owners were great, I would stay again. There was a shuttle that picks up on weekends, maybe weekdays too until end of Oct and goes downtown Sister Bay and will pick up where they dropped you off at every half hr until 2am, it was nice not having to drive.

Room clean, room dated but clean, carpet old. They do need new pillows, bring your own. Gardens pretty, nice big campfire area. Entrance sign attractive and easy to spot.

Such a quaint cozy hotel nestled in the woods and within walking distance of downtown.

The location was fine but the property is old . Old Mr Coffee and microwave which was on the bathroom counter which crowded the space. Room dated but comfortable beds and clean.

It was pleasant and offered the necessities, incl. microwave, frig, breakfast, coffee and cable tv. Staff was very friendly.

My only complaint is the pillows - they were too hard. it would be nice to have a variety of pillows on the bed rather than all hard. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay and wonderful staff.

Truly a great 4 day stay. Coachlite was fantastic…perfect spot of Door County. Could not have asked for more.Great price point for what your got…highly recommend this for your stay.

I like it

The breakfast was not as advertised. Rooms need some updating. Service at front desk was friendly & helpful but other housekeeping staff did not clean room very well and acted like they didn’t care.

Great place, close to town! Kinda tucked into the woods.

Resort was beautiful outside, flower gardens were gorgeous. Our room was very clean but had a bit too much furniture to be very comfortable and the air conditioning was not working well, it was quite hot in our room. The air conditioning unit was blocked by one of the beds. Thank goodness it wasnt 90 degrees outside but it was still pretty warm in the room.

Reasonably priced. Easy to access. Microwaves, refrigerators. Simple breakfast options.

This was a quaint, quiet place to stay. Safe. Grounds were absolutely gorgeous. The hotel inside our room was very crowded with way to big of furniture. Not a lot of room to move around. Some of our towels were worn pretty much and one of them was ripped. I noticed that the lotion left for us was half used by the previous hotel guest. Pretty nasty thinking I would have used a lotion that someone else had used!! And I suggest taking out some of the furniture so there is room to move around. Smokers were close to the building. Pretty nasty for us non smokers to have to smell their cigarettes each time we had to go to our car. Please also replace your ripped and worn towels.

Stayed at Coachlite for a week and it was amazing, property, staff and the owners were fantastic and I look forward to staying there again!! Highly recommend..

The resort is lovely and quaint. The rooms are fine, but could use a little love. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang things, the artwork doesn't go with the location and the dining table should be removed, it just crowds the room. The continental breakfast was fine, but the pastry was stale and the hard boiled eggs may have been there for a while.

Great place for the price. We loved the tub in the room. Walkable to Sister Bay, though there is a pretty steep hill. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but it wasn't bad. Would give 5 stars, except... if you are not a heavy sleeper, do NOT stay on the bottom floor. We heard EVERY movement above us at night. Normally it would have been bad enough to cause us to leave, but we are currently in the middle of the newborn life and are so exhausted all the time, that we can sleep through just about anything at the moment. If not for that, it would have been pretty difficult to sleep.

The room was clean, well decorated and affordable. The grounds had areas with picnic tables and grills and a whirlpool.

When we walked in and saw a dehumidifier, that was a clue. When I saw the digital reading EH and Googled it and read that it meant that the humidity sensor wasn't working that wasn't good. When it said to unplug it for 15 minutes and plug it back in to see if it works and it didn't, that really wasn't good. It rained that night and off and on the next day. The floor in our ground floor room was damp. Shoes on floor were damp when we put them on. Kept everything off floor. Our feet were sticky wet from the floor.you could see our footprints on the floor and feel the moisture on your hands. I saw a a housekeeper and she came and looked at it and said she would have someone else come look at it, but it was never replaced or fixed. Also, standing water around fridge when we checked in so i turned fridge down and used bath mat to mop water up, told front office and they brought me a clean bath mat. Ran a/c and ceiling fan constantly for 4 days to try and get rid of humidity in room. Beds were comfortable and 3 good pillows on each bed, shower was good. Never gave us wi-fi password or told us where to get ice, said housekeeping was "iffy" so if we needed towels, call for them.They never made the beds and we were there for 3 days. We booked the last room and now I see why we got that room.

Just a quiet, friendly little place!

Coach lite inn is an older property. It is very clean and maintained. It is in a great location. It has grills, a fire pit, and an outdoor hot tub. We were on the second floor which required stairs if you have mobility issues, it might be an issue. It did not have Wi-Fi but most people have it in their phones anyway, so that didn’t bother us, The Continental breakfast was simple. It had coffee, juice, cereal, donuts, toast, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and apples. That was plenty for us. The only thing that could’ve been added was packets of oatmeal because we are lactose intolerant so cereal and yogurts we couldn’t eat. We just ran to the grocery store down the street and picked up a box. We would stay again just for the older charm and convenient location.
