Our hosts were very welcoming and informative. The property was far enough from the main road that you could have morning coffee outside enjoying the grounds and serenity.

10/10 would recommend!!! Definitely stay here. Best value for the price paid on our entire trip. It was more like an Airbnb as we had the whole lower level of her house to ourselves. She let us do laundry there as well for no charge. Check in was flexible. The host was very friendly yet also gave us privacy. She does provide breakfast as a legitimate B&B and it exceeded expectations by far. She let us pick the time for her to have it ready at. Her and her husband are great and I can’t say enough good things about them!

Shirley was warm and welcoming. Her home is spotless and comfortable. She made us a packed breakfast the first morning due to our early fishing trip! A real jewel .. You should stay here!

Super friendly and cozy experience. The rooms are spacious, bed is super comfy, shower has great water pressure. Everything is immaculate. I felt right at home and very at ease. Breakfast is made to order and very hearty. A great way to start a beautiful day in Alaska. I can't wait to return!

Shirley and John are wonderful. They and their family were welcoming and very nice. They made you feel like a part of their family. Any time you had a question about activities, etc. they were happy to lend a hand and give a suggestion.

What a enjoyable staying even one night but good things starts on the begining. This Southern Bluff BB is absolutelly clean and if you wanna candy with hot coffee or tea, enjoy them! Very clean, beautifull, silent home and excellent bed so everything to enjoy an Alaskian night. Very delicious breakfast and during it is unforgetable moments to talk with Ms Shirley and husband John. This BB is well located, easy to find and the travel around it is unforgetable with several and several fantastic views. I do recomend Southern Bluff B B to my fiends and every potencial customers i assure to them, it will be worth and as my plan ia to stay 3 weeks next 2020&2021 i will be back so ate la vista !!!

Nice B & B we had a change in our fishing schedule and they worked with us . Excellent service.\

Very nice and comfortable. Shirley was a great host and served a great breakfast. Having a convenient and free washer and dryer was great. Small room with very open common area.

My Son and I recently used the B&B as layover as we worked our way through the mountains fishing and hiking. Their facility was very clean and comfortable. Also helped us out with a small rental car issue by providing some supplies. Such wonderful people!

Southern Bluff B&B was an excellent place to stay. The room was extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. You have to share a bathroom, but it is not a problem because there is only one other room. Shirley and John, the owners, really thought out everything. From the washer and dryer available to the fresh coffee right outside your room in the morning. There is no Satalite TV, but John was more than willing to lend us one of his hundreds of movies. Shirley cooked a delicious, and filling breakfast based on the orders she took from us the night before. The owners are very laid back and have excellent suggestions on stuff to see. Southern Bluff B&B is just on the outskirts of Soldatna, and is close to lots of fishing hot spots and restaurants. We will definatly stay here again, hopefully soon!
