I was originally given a room that was occupied. Walked in to a room being used. And then questioned when i returned to the desk like i made it up. I said honey there is definitely someone in that room. A little scary.

Everything was clean and the rooms were beautiful,the only thing I would change is the free breakfast,I would serve less with better quality.

Creamer for coffee would be good along with real sausage not veggie sausage. The dining area is small. Sitting out front to grill or what not is uncomfortable. Service people could be a bit nicer.

I stayed at this hotel to attend the NJ Spartan race in Vernon. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and really like it. It's not extremely far from the Vernon venue. It has so many restaurants nearby to choose from to eat. Shopping in case I need some last minute items for my race. It has a refrigerator to store my food and a kitchen to make my breakfast. I will choose this hotel again to stay for my next Spartan race.

Rooms clean and staff pleasant but they did not come to room to clean next day while we were out, no beds, no fresh towels and most importantly no toilet paper!! Had a quarter roll when checked in. Went to 2 staff members and they politely said sorry and shook their heads. No real apology from front desk staff!

The stay was amazing. Nice and quiet. I saw somewhere that I was to receive a welcome gift/bag. I did not get one during my stay. Regardless it was a pleasurable stay and would recommend it to anyone. The location was great near the mall (less than a 2 minute drive) and restaurants.

The reason I give this property a poor score is because they had a water main break that evacuated the entire building. We returned there around 10:30 pm and was told about the evacuation right in the lobby. They told us we needed to get our belongings and leave the property, which we did. I'm not sure why I didn't receive a call from them regarding this instead we were told at a very late hour and expected to find anywhere else to stay. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.

In general, staff was okay. I thought cleaning staff was friendlier than the staff manning the main desk. Hotel convenient to food stores, but must have car. Although can walk but I wouldn't recommend. I have stayed here previously and the breakfast menu improved. But most likely because COVID-19 restrictions have been relaxed. Place convenient to highways and to the beautiful green parts of NJ.
