This apartment was exactly what we needed! My family and I stayed here during our vacation in June. The apartment is spacious, clean and in a fantastic location. The people working at the front desk were helpful and very friendly. Many other reviews mentioned an issue with noise from the trains, but the noise is really not that bad, it didn’t bother us at all. Having laundry in the building was a huge bonus for us. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved this location and the staff at the front desk, who were so helpful with our questions and requests. The apartment was designed well, appointed with all the needs you might need for a longer stay, including a laundry facility in the basement. Our apartment was on the first floor, so it took some time to get used to the subway rumble. Otherwise, a great location.

Would highly recommend the apartments. So very clean, modern and well laid out and lovely helpful front door staff. They have everything you need for a short or even longer stay in Berlin. Great location too with Central station just a 15 minute walk away and the S-bahn and tram stop at the front door. Getting around is so easy.

Great location for transport links, supermarket and plenty of food options within a few minutes walk. Apartment had everything you could want, the bed was comfy. As others have mentioned there is a little tram noise but honestly I live in the countryside and was able to cope with it easily.

Our stay here was very comfortable. The staff is accomodating and the apartment is very nice. The location is great with lots of transit options and restaurants nearby. The only downside is you can hear and feel the trains running underground, especially if you're on the lower floors.

The penthouse flat was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay

The apartment is very comfortable spotlessly clean well appointed with very good Wi-Fi and lots of electrical outlets. We arrived before 1700 so we were checked in by the concierge team who are helpful and friendly.

Since last year, I am a guest almost every month at Downtown Apartments and I can only say that it is the perfect place to stay for pleasure and business. The apartments are beautiful modern decorated and very clean. The assistance is also very good, especially Veronika who is an amazing person, she always try the best to satisfy the guest needs. Everything is here is just perfect. Thanks to the whole team of Downtown Apartments.

location was good, the building is very new and modern. cleaning only every 3rd night. it is very loud as the trams drive passt every couple of minutes, there is a pub on the ground floor of the building which can get loud and the people at the park right next to the property can also be loud (playground so a lot of screaming kids). you can't really have your windows open in summer and there is no AC in many of the apartments. ours didn't have one.

The Downtown Apartments are almost new and ideally sited for exploring Berlin. Tram and S Bahn are right outside and both take you straight into the centre. If walking, it’s about 20 mins to the Brandenburg Gate and many of the sights. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and in excellent working order. The four ladies who rotate on Reception spoke perfect English and could not have been more helpful. They maintain a sheet of good local restaurants most of which we tried with great results every time. But there was one shortcoming. That convenient S Bahn runs right underneath the block at a shallow depth and the building vibrates every four minutes (except for a few hours at night during weekdays only). Also the tram is audible if the front windows are open. Personally, it did not bother me but my wife had to wear earplugs every night. We were in the Birds’s Nest Penthouse suite on the 6th floor, so height makes little difference. Only one other significant issue – the two TVs have hundreds of Sky channels but virtually no entertainment channels in English. I had a laptop and so was able to stream Amazon Prime and Netflix via the excellent free WiFi but connecting to the BBC iPlayer with a VPN only worked sporadically. If you have a smart stick for streaming TV don’t forget to bring it. So long as you are a good sleeper I would highly recommend Downtown Apartments.

Excellent location for public transit, close to many tourist attractions, very good restaurants, cafes and shops nearby and all in a residential type neighbourhood with lots of families. And the apartment itself was very well appointed with everything you’d want and more (eg heated towel bars and fully stocked kitchen). It’s on a bust street yet surprisingly quiet at night and the beds are very comfy. Staff were always very helpful and accommodating. Would certainly stay here again!

The luxation is great with direct access to S-bahn and tram network. The tram directly outside the building of course feels and disturb a little so in case you are easy disturbed by noise this could be an issue. Nice and clean place with high rating!

This was a great place to stay in Berlin. The tram drops you off at the doorstep and there is a S Bahn train across the street. It was very easy to get around. The apartment is beautiful and well-appointed. The apartment has air conditioning. Check in was easy.

Nice appartment, good location. Would definitly recommend if travelling with family or for extended stay. Washer/dryer in the basement was also very conveniant.
