A very cute hotel in the city centre of Edirne and the staff is very helpful. The single room was cosy, clean, quiet and perfect for one night stay. There is a breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. The various historical sights of Edirne can easily be explored by foot from this hotel.

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay in this hotel. It’s in the heart of the city, right in front of Üç Şerefeli mosque. The staff was helpful and friendly. A single room is very small, but tidy. If you like boutique hotels with some historical background and a bit creaky floor doesn’t bother you, this is the right place for you!

500-year old stone building by Sinan the Architect. Perfect fit for a historical city like Edirne. The single room was tiny but others were bigger. Good service, good location. Enjoyed it a lot.

++ The night shift receptionist Mohamed is wonderful, very friendly and spoke good English.+ Location is excellent and the mini ottoman garden is beautiful, great for breakfast or a cup of tea. The overall feel and antique smell of the place really makes staying at Tashan unique. The rest of staff were friendly.- air conditioner had a problem- bathroom ventilator fan had a problem- the single room may feel a bit claustrophobic for some (It was ok for me).- - had a problem with the booking that wasnt fixed even by hotel.com customer service, luckily I had a local friend who had to call them to fix it.- - booking is non-changeable and non-refundable

It was great historical otel, helpfull and very nice stuffs, clean room, downtown edirne.

This hotel within a historic building is ideal for travelling around Edirne. Most of the tourist sites including the bazaar and restaurants are walking distance from the hotel. The well-known Ottoman hospital/medical school, shifahane, is about 10-15 minutes away by foot. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful, always happy to answer queries about directions and places to visit. Our visit coincided with the heatwave affecting most of the Balkans and Edirne did not escape the high temperatures. The air conditioning was switched on but the cool air was very quickly lost due to the room not being insulated and sealed. However, we would visit again but perhaps in early autumn or spring rather than summer
