Simple and nice and very affordable

Queens Court was a great place central to our stay in St Simons Island. It is right in the heart of Pier Village, close to shopping, restaurants, history, and the beach! Our double room was perfect for my wife and I--it gave us space to spread out. It has a refrigerator and microwave as well. There is no getting around that the bathroom and shower are older. I would highly recommend small improvements like shelving for toiletries as well as a grab bar in the shower. Our room did not have any drawers for clothes (I did have 2 luggage racks, thank you!)-just a few hangers in the side closet. I brought some hangers from home, so that helped. The staff was friendly and helpful. They took care of some minor issues we had withspeedy results. Thank you for taking care of us during our week's stay!

The complex looks dated expect for the pool area which was fabulous, the check in staff were great but the room was through a door and up steep stairs. Very steep when walking up or down esp with a case. The room was dated, the shower looks like a gas chamber and not inviting at all. The air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy. All in all it’s not a bad place just not great considering the cost per night.

I've had an amazing time at Queens Court walking distance from everything great prices friendly staff. I will stay again.

Filthy hotel

It was so convenient to shopping & the beach & restaurants. The staff was lovely & it was clean & comfortable. The rug in the room was very stained. It would be nice to replace it or shampoo it.

This is a very basic hotel, not worth the price in my opinion. Conveniently situated in St. Simons near shops, restaurants and the pier. But the downside of the location was that my room was very noisy, as it overlooked a busy intersection.

Lower end motel in great location. Price was reasonable for expectations. John was very helpful at front desk. Did t like lawn equipment on saturday morning. St. Simons Village right there.

We LOVED Queens Court! The location is simply unbeatable -- you're literally across the street from great restaurants and shops, including several that offer Queens Court lodgers a discount. The pier is less than a 5-minute walk, and the motel offers free parking! All this at about a third (no kidding) of the price of other hotels on St. Simons. The rooms are clean and have nice conveniences like a microwave, good-sized fridge, and Keurig. The rooms are a bit on the small side (for the US) and a little lacking in storage, like a dresser or shelves, but ours was just fine for a couple who only had one suitcase each. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our housekeeper said she liked working there because they pay good money, which I appreciated. We also enjoyed the lovely pool surrounded by live oaks draped in Spanish Moss. It's a peaceful, charming setting, and we loved the 1940s vibe. Bottom line: If you're looking for massive, luxurious resort-style accommodations or a party-hearty location, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a local business that provides a clean, quiet, comfortable place for a couple or family to stay in a FANTASTIC location and that appears to have strong relationships with their employees and other local businesses, stay here! We will definitely be back on our next visit to St. Simons.

We enjoyed our trip very much. The bed was a little on the low side but still comfortable.

Traffic was a little loud, but with the AC on we were able to drown it out. Landscaping is lovely as was pool. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay again

Did not like the pillows(but it could just be me) and the A/C was capped at 68 and I like it a little cooler at night. Great location and service. Nice big rooms.

Perfect location in the beach village. The room was clean and spacious. The price could not be beat for the location.

Property touts being built in1948--looks like the last time they cleaned the property and the rooms. Horrible smell in the hallway and in our room on the second floor (no elevator). TV is flat screen but 20 years old. Shall I go on?

Could hear upstairs neighbors ALL night long. Talking laughing sliding chairs across the floor until 6 AM. Need much better sound barrier - could not sleep because it was Ike they were sitting in our room.

Walkable to shops, restaurants, park and pier

We reserved the room with the kitchen. The kitchen had very little as far as cooking utensils go. No blender, one pan, one cup Kurig. The rugs could use a good cleaning. Otherwise it was a cute place. Very old. We booked several rooms for a 40th birthday celebration. One of the rooms smelled of mold and could use a spruce up. There is no place to put your clothes away or shelves to set your bathroom supplies on. We loved how small and quaint the place was though. Brandon was very friendly and helpful when I called to make inquiries.

Great place to stay! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The location is terrific and convenient to St. Simmons village, restaurants and pier. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and so cute!!

It's really noisy.. walls and ceiling are paper thin... and if I you're on the first floor you will hear everything above. I booked a week stay, and it was clear within a few hours that I was going to be checking out early the next morning. Which I did. I actually almost checked out the afternoon I checked in (but was too tired from 5 hours driving). Some other matters - whatever they used to clean the place has a really strong chemical odor. The cheap window blinds are hung really poorly and overall sloppy (I don't normally notice this sort of stuff and it doesn't normally bother me.. but it was so obvious here) Everyone is all crammed together in this "old apartment complex" looking place, and leaf blowers /noise from the street at all hours right outside your door... If you want to stay very close to the pier and loads of action then this is a good location. If you don't care about staying in a funky, run down noisy place, well then Queens Court will be fine for you. I don't really understand the "Excellent" reviews here on Expedia. I travel a lot, and I book on Expedia all the time. I'm not used to seeing these Great reviews (I read many of them) and then being completely baffled by them. ?? On a positive note - I will say that the staff was acommodating and polite. They totally understood my reason for leaving early and they didn't hassle me in submitting $500 refund for remaining days of reservation. That was a positive aspect of my experience here. Onwards.

Very nice, close to everything.

I absolutely loved this stay. It was so fun. The staff was amazing, and it was very clean. It's an old property with a great feel to it. The other guests were also very nice and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable bed and nice shower head. Service is average, shower leaked noisily, cleaning agents had very strong and long-lasting odor.
