Left my camera in my room. Staff made sure I got it back. 100% for honesty. Nothing fancy but clean and tidy. Can’t beat the price. Good Mexican food next door

Rainbow is always clean. Though the rooms are recently updated, the bathroom door is falling off it's reused hinges. The air conditioner/heating unit needs cleaned and the vents need to be replaced. They need a better process, (maybe oxy) to wash the towels. All towels except one hand towel had stains. When we left here was no one available to tell about the broken bathroom door or stained towels

There aren’t a lot of choices in South Fork, CO, but this rundown old motel has seen better days. We never saw an employee. We arrived after their limited office hours (we were there before 5) and never saw anyone when we checked out the next morning. Although everything was very dated, it was reasonably clean and comfortable. Our bedroom had vinyl horizontal blinds (which were broken) and there is no air conditioning. So we had the window open all night and were woken up by the bright sun in our eyes just after dawn.

There is a convenience/sports store and liquor stores right next to property. The rail bikes we went to south fork for were about a mile away.

Sheets & pillow cases looked used not changed. Towels were really stained and not clean.

I had low expectations, and was merely looking for a ‘crash-pad’, but when I observed plant life growing through the shower walls and a bathroom door coming off its hinges, I knew Hotels.com needed to know what type of motel this is and consider removing it from its options. I would like a full refund.

The feel of being a family operated establishment was nice. The front desk staff was very kind and had a good sense of humor. The room, unfortunately, did as well. There were vines growing in the corner of the shower/tub combo. The not to be stained towels came pre-stained in some cases. The TV stand has dried and sticky sugar spilled on it. The bed was comfortable if you like a super soft mattress.

Did not get one of the cabins with the beds that I was expecting from our reservation. Not sure why not. This was a bit small for our group. Called and asked about kitchen utensils so was surprised to find only 2 bowls, 3 plates, no spoons and 3 cups after I was told it was fully stocked. Stove/oven needed to be lit but no sparker, lighter or matches were provided. Cleanliness wasn't an issue but many items were "fixed" or improved by someone who didn't know what they were doing and didn't work well.

We had a phenomenal stay at Rainbow Lodge in South Fork, CO. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very cozy. The location was absolutely superb, and the management was wonderful, friendly and kind, made us feel like family. We will definitely be returning! 5 star location for sure!

First room the heater did not work but they gave us a different room. Could use some better renovations.

Our stay at the Rainbow Lodge exceeded our expectations. The serene environment and stunning views provided the ideal backdrop for a relaxing and rejuvenating family vacation. We cherished every moment spent together and look forward to returning soon.

The lady at the front desk was very kind and accommodating when we asked for a full refund because our first room was completely unclean and the bed looked like someone just got out of it and the second (a cabin) had a dirty diaper in the sheets that looked like they hadn't been washed.
My partner and I dont usually mind if a hotel is a little rougher around the edges, but this was wild.

Even though this was an older property, it was a good value. The hostess checked us in quickly and she was very friendly and efficient. The room was large with good WiFi, comfortable bed and parking at the front door. Recommended!

Friday May 31 2024. I paid less than $100 for a 600ish sq ft cabin. I parked 5 feet from the door. It was in good cond. It was clean. 1 Couch. 2 tables with Chairs. Working tv. Full size fridge/freezer. 4 burner gas stove. Large 2 basin sink. Quiet and efficient heater. Separate bedroom area with a door. They were thoughtful in what was provided such as 2 water bottles in fridge, roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner & soap x 3. Good water pressure.
All in all it was very very good for the price and really would not be a disappointment at twice what it cost.

I liked the staff and the area. It was quiet and had what you needed around you. They quickly swapped my refrigerator that wasn’t working. Overall it was an okay stay for the price.

This was a great, affordable, option to stay while skiing at Wolf Creek. This is no frills, but the room was clean, the water hot, and the beds comfortable. We had no issues. The rooms could use at least some updating with new outlets, but we worked around it.
