Hostel’s building is just great. Small rooms but have everything. Clean kitchens, showers with a sauna. Very quiet and perfect for northern lights due to location on the north side of town. Great breakfast, even got a togo bag for early departure (ask the day before). Restaurant is also serving lunch and dinner and has amazing thai food among the western dishes. Brought in fresh towels on 3rd day of my stay without me asking to (included in long stay). I always try to stay there on my visits to Kiruna, have never been disappointed.

Charming room on a student like campus. Good restaurant on site. Campus on the edge of town. Centre not near, you need a bicycle or car to go there.

This was the best accommodation in our month-long trip in Sweden and Norway. Our en-suite hotel room was spacious and modestly priced, including very nice buffet breakfast at the restaurant. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant were excellent and relatively cheap, but we also used kitchen/dining room at the hotel, which was shared between 6 rooms. The location is great. Groomed cross-country ski pistes are right next to the hotel, and Northern lights were visible standing outside the door. Public transport is close too.

Generally ok. The triple room is spacious, but really tiny for the bathroom. Not good for shower. The room is on separate building and need to go around the back for the entrance.

Our stay was great. Even though this hostel/hotel is simple it provides everything needed and has a beautiful view.

Hi fellow travelers, My accommodation has a superb location. It is near bus station, tourist office and some restaurants. I booked a studio room which is clean and neat. There are windows just in case northern lights show up. Breakfast is delicious. Overall, I will recommend this place

It’s a great hostel that is clean, comfortable, and great breakfast! Staying here also helps fund their schools.

Everything was inconvenient about this 'hotel'. One of the shabbiest hotels I've been to. You have to make your own bed tuck in the sheets to the covers etc, the showers are outside the room, and there were stains on the sheets. The restaurant closes at 2 and you have to walk at least 15 mins to find a place to eat. They dont clean your room until after you check out. Its cheap for a reason I guess

Reasonably basic but clean and comfortable accommodation. Close to town but quiet. Friendly staff. Would happily stay again.

No frills, but the price is right. If you don't have a car, maybe a bit far away from the center of town. Good basecamp for trekking etc. Decent breakfast, and a possibility to cook your own food also.

Nice hotel, but the rooms are worn and old, can do with a little bit of upgrades. The pillows are too soft and flat. Toilet is falling apart... kitchen is well equipped but can have new sets of pots and pans.

Perfect for a short stay. Well coordinated arrival with the reception staff texting the code to the key boxes. Please bear in mind that the reception closes at 7 pm but that should not be any issue as long as one informs the reception about the late arrival and they'll send the key code to pick up the room keys. Limited but sufficient breakfast. The airport bus stops about a 5-10 minute walk away from the place.

私が予約した時、日本語版サイトでは、「エコノミー シングル ルーム」が共用シャワーであることが「部屋タイプ」に明記されておらず、個室シャワーだと思って予約しました。英語版には明記されていました。私の場合は、キャンセル有効期間内に共用シャワーだと気が付きましたが、これ以上に安い宿も見つからなかったので、そのまま宿泊しました。 サウナは男女共用のようでした。そのサウナはシャワー室につながっており、シャワー室側から扉に鍵がかけられるようでしたが、壊れていたのか閉まりませんでした。このため男性用シャワー室から故意でも過失でも女性用のシャワー室に入れる状態であり(勿論廊下側から入ることは常に可能なわけですが)女性の私はなんとなく怖さを感じたこと、冬で汗もあまりかいていなかったことから、シャワーは断念しました。他の女性の滞在者でシャワーを利用していた人もいたので、私が気にしすぎなのだとは思います。 上記の件以外は、値段相応で満足です。 When I booked, on the Japanese website, There was no information that "Economy single room" is "with shared shower". So I misunderstood that it had a private room shower until I checked the English site. The sauna seemed for men and women. There was a key between the sauna and the shower room (on the shower room side). But I could not lock it. I think it needs repair.

Fine place, more a hostel than a hotel though, breakfast was better than expected and the lunch was good and cheap

We spent here two nights. This place is good value for money. It has no frills, but it provides the necessary things (clean room, wifi, fair breakfast) well. It also has a good location, quiet and not too far from anything. Recommendable.

It is just a few minutes walk to find a dark spot to try and see the N Lights at night. The unit we were in had 2 kitchens and were fine for cooking a simple meal. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety/selection. The room we were in was basic but clean and functional. A bedside table would have been nice instead of a chair which was placed next to just one side of the double bed. The bathroom is equally basic - but again clean and functional.

Free breakfast was great. We stayed in a private room in the hostel building and its one of the quietest hostels i stayed in. A good cheap hostel in Kiruna. Walking distance to everything.
