We had an amazing stay at Villa Lara. Everyday and every night was a 5 star experience. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Morning coffee in our room was delicious and served on a silver tray from a silver coffee pot - piping hot. Every detail has been well planned and thought out to make you experience delighful.

Best place to stay in Bayeux if you are visiting Dday beaches. Rooms are modern with all facilities. Polite , helpful and friendly staff makes it an awesome place to stay !

For me, this was the perfect hotel, relatively small, but beautiful with every amenity including a nice bar and breakfast restaurant. In particular the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful while never being condescending. I will definitely be back!

The lovely and super charming Villa Lara was perfect for our stay to visit the D Day Beaches of Normandy. Not only was the hotel and our room very nice, the staff couldn't have been nicer. I inadvertently left 2 pairs of shoes behind when we left. The staff notified me and were nice enough to overnight mail them to my next stop. Our tour of the beaches left from the front lawn of Villa Lara. That couldn't have been more convenient. For the 2 evenings we spent there, the staff offered to make dinner reservations for us at restaurants that were close by. All in all, a great stay.

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet courtyard just off the Main Street within walking distance to attractions, restaurants and shopping. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. Our room was large with windows opening to the side overlooking the garden at the hotel next door. Conveniently located within steps of where tours pick up so no issues with having to find parking. Our room was large and beautifully appointed.

Everything about the Villa Lara was exceptional. Service was friendly and exceptionally helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. And the location couldn’t be better - right in the heart of the town. We will definitely be back.

What is there not to love about Villa Lara? I brought my Dad to Normandy for a bucket-list trip for him...and one of the Presidential Suite was the perfect home for our 3-night stay. it was abundantly spacious, clean, gorgeous ....beds were so comfortable! With all of that said, nothing trumps the staff. What a delight EVERYONE single person working at Villa Lara was! Everyone went out of their way for kindness, recommendations, helpfulness, service. This is a MUST stay in Bayeux!

Great location in the heart of everything. Gorgeous room. Staff are very helpful. Parking on site but reserve ahead of time, only a few spots. Wonderful experience. We walked into town near the Bayeaux Cathedral for dinner. Multiple great choices!

Great location for exploring Bayeux and the D day sites. Very friendly staff, clean and updated bathroom. Nice breakfast for a fee. Parking area with a gate so felt comfortable leaving our things in there for a short time. Would definitely stay here again.
