Very gracious host and hostess, good breakfast, homemade

We had a wonderful stay at Hollerstown Hill B&B. The owners were great - very personable and friendly. The location is ideal if you're visiting Frederick to walk downtown for shopping/eating/drinking. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was very nice. The home and hosts are fantastic

I had a one night stay and found this B&B to be exactly what we needed. The room was very comfortable, the host welcomed us when we arrived but didn't overwhelm us with too much attention, and the location was perfect. We left very early so couldn't have breakfast but woke up to a bag of fruit and snacks anyway. And, finally, we left something in the room and didn't even realize it, and they were really proactive and helpful in contacting us and getting us the item.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hollerstown Hill. Betty is an awesome cook and Phill a wonderful host (Betty too!) We highly recommend the stay.

Wifey loved the knick-nacks! the host was accomodating due to an illness, understandable. the portable A/C unit, right beside the TV is in-excusable.

Phil and Betty are excellent hosts to the conveniently located B&B where we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Spend some time checking out all the period pieces within the house. Great local recommendations from Phil and an enjoyable quick get-away locale.

Hollerstown Hill takes your stay at a Victorian B&B to the next level. The proprietors are super-friendly, the room was spacious and well-appointed, and our en suite bathroom was massive. The decor in our room included an actual vintage dress and shoes on a vintage seamstress's form, a claw foot tub, and... wait for it... a pull-chain toilet! Breakfast was delicious and healthy and our hostess even packed us some coffee cake to-go.

Very quaint. Food was super excellent. Clean and charming rooms. Be prepared to haul suitcase upstairs. Lovely couple owners.

The inn is conveniently located near restaurants and downtown shops in Frederick. It is also nicely decorated with lots of dolls.

Bettie was a great host. Great location to walk downtown. Home was a little “cluttered” with collectibles for our taste. Beautiful old home which was well maintained.

I took my girlfriend down for the weekend for a surprise birthday to enjoy downtown Frederick and all the little shops and restaurants.The property was nice and quiet everything you need within walking distance.Phil and his wife Betty the owners were very friendly and welcoming.We enjoyed our conversations with them.The only two issues we had was we stayed in the Cannon Hill room.The sink was very tiny in a corner in the bathroom which wouldn’t of been a big issue but there was a piece of glass directly above it to set your things on but it came out as far as the sink did with only about 8-10” between so it was basically impossible to wash your face in the sink without your head hitting the glass and getting water on the floor at the same time. The breakfast was not at all what i expected and we stayed at many BB’s in the past.Some type of egg casserole with frozen vegetables on top of the eggs. The casserole must of been sitting a while and partially cold. The only other items they had was a muffin and smoothie. It was more like a continental breakfast served at a hotel. just not what I expected with a fairly pricey room over which was over $200 per night.

Within a short walk of the heart of downtown Frederick which has more to offer than we expected. Parking is on street in front of property, there always seemed to be one open space available.
