You get what you pay for I suppose... the air conditioning turning itself off automatically every hour throughout the night in the height of summer resulting in the worst night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The shower curtain in the wet room also did not pull across at all unless you were tall enough to reach the curtain rail and manually remove and reattach the curtain rings. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a shame that the room was abysmal.

Overall a good stay. The hotel is very conveniently located with bus stops over the road, a Sainsburys over the road and the train station a couple minutes away. Check in was quick and simple and Lia (I think her name was) was lovely. Very affable and assisted me without issue when my key not working after I returned from the gig I went to. The room was comfortable and generally clean. Not too noisy despite being next to relatively busy roads. Only issue near the start was someone being given the same room as me not long after I'd checked in. Not sure if the system had updated or just a miscommunication with them. Hopefully the chap isn't too traumatised from seeing me lying in my pants with a towel on my face to cool down.

The room was clean and neat, but there were no bags in the garbage, which meant that the container itself was dirty and it made it more challenging to throw out food products. It was closely located to the train station, however it was sometimes noisy with all the trams going by. Also within a few minutes walk of a small grocery store and lots of restaurants. I wish there was a place to store items or a side table to put stuff on.

Very small room. No place to put your belongings, not even end tables. No closet. Shower, toilet and sink all share the same floor space so be prepared to stand on a wet floor while using the toilet/sink haha. This hotel says they remove the frills/extras to reduce cost.. They go a bit far. At least give me a table and a chair??

Stayed for 1 night in an inside room with no windows. Check in was easy, the guy on reception was very polite and happy to help. The hotel itself was clean, but that’s where the good stops. The room was ok for £69, didn’t mind not having windows, after all I was only sleeping there. The bed however was extremely uncomfortable and very loud and creaky. The according to a sign on the wall, the aircon should be able to work constantly from 6pm however the time was not set correctly so it was turning off every hour (and continued to do so even after it reached 6pm on the aircon clock). The aircon would not turn on to cool, I assumed this was just a feature as I’ve stayed places where this is the case, but in the morning something happened and all of a sudden I had cool air. All in all a very poor nights sleep, constantly being woken by the noise of the bed and then being woken up because the aircon had turned off again and it was way too hot in the room (approaching 30° c according to the aircon display). The bathroom was ok, but because of the wet room design, once you had a shower, you had to get your feet wet to use the toilet or the mirror (no other mirror in the room).

Rooms VERY small (bedroom just fits the bed). Have a shower and entire bathroom is a lake. No furniture aside for bed, so everything has too be put on the floor. Bathroom sink is really a small toilet sink. Anything you might want from a hotel is an extra. Staff very friendly. Get a disabled room to get larger bathroom and use the seat as a storage surface.

I would have liked a table in mg room

The property was basic which came with additional extra such as house keeping.

Had an early flight from Gatwick, and this was much cheaper than staying nearer the airport. 15 min train to Gatwick from East Croydon in the morning made it ideal. The room was tight, not much space for more than a bed. But I didnt need much space. Very helpful and warm welcome by the reception staff.

I chose this hotel because it was significantly cheaper than others that would have been suitable... But it's cheap for a reason. The hotel just felt dirty. I can't wait to get home tonight and wash it off me!

I definitely won’t stay again, the building is just like a running down property. The room have not table or whatsoever. I found bugs on my bed in the morning. Please avoid.

Perfect place to stay when you need a room and toilet for the night. Did what it needed to do as well as being clean so thankyou! Staff were lovely upon arrival and greeted us well. Check in/out process was smooth too. I will say that next time it would be nicer if there was a bin in the bathroom as well as in the room itself. Also be aware that the tram is on one side and can be heard loud through the night but won’t disturb you much unless you are a very light sleeper. The noise can be fairly calming. Really poor room layout with no tables or anywhere to hang clothes, ok if you don’t have clothes

In the EasyHotel you get what you pay for. A basic room, with a clean bathroom and somewhere to sleep. This hotel was good enough for a one night stay, but wouldn’t be somewhere that I would want to stay for anything more than a couple of nights. The hotel is very well situated for East Croydon Railway Station, which means you can be in Central London within about half an hour. I would stay here again when needing to be overnight in London.

My Email: Hi i just literally made a booking for next week about an hour ago, but i need a full refund. Reason why i need a refund is because, I just checked out of your hotel in Croydon. I walk to my car which was parked on the side road to find out someone smashed my car window. My car window is fully broken and I feel scared to even come back to this area! Nothing was taken but it's the fact that I do not feel safe in that neighbourhood anymore! I booked next week before I left the hotel, if I left the hotel first I would of seen this damage to my car and not have booked the room. Please may you cancel my booking with a full refund. This is a *very* basic hotel - the reception reminded us of this during check-in and they weren't lying! If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower, this fits the bill. Excellent location next to the train station and a Sainsbury's, but not exactly the kind of place you would choose to relax at the end of a day of sightseeing. Truly the easyJet of hotels.

40 minutes away from London. Wouldn’t recommend staying for more than one night, this hotel is literarally just for sleeping, doesn’t have any amenities.

I had selected a room with 2 single beds. The room was very basic, with nowhere to put down anything on, not a side table, shelf or chair... On the plus side, good location for transport and shopping, and I must commend Akash (reception desk) for his friendliness and courtesy.

The staff said 4 words in total to us during our 2 night stay (I counted). The room was very basic but that is what we signed up - there was no bedside table or unit of any kind to put anything on, and no lamp which was a shame, and only given one towel between two people as well but no staff about to ask for another. I think the room was clean but I spent as little time as possible there so can’t really say. The coffee machine in reception was a bonus however we didn’t use it.

Our room reasonably clean . There is no table and chairs . No kettle and beverages.

I am 57 yrs old and traveled all over the world. This was by far the Worst experience. First of all never stayed in a row with NO furniture not even a night stand. I dealt bed bugs, wifi did not really work. Four mornings No hot water, T.V. kept dropping off. I will disputing the the hotel charge.

Arrived earlier that normal Check in time. Explained to the receptionist that had travelled for 18 hours and he was so strict in checking me in at 3pm or with extra charge.. the heater is just on 23 and is pretty cold in the room no other option than a blanket. Also was not let use any toilet as i was not a guest yet… terrible service even if management is strict as human being we should be tolerant.

I had a most enjoyable stay and the facilities were great. The bed was most comfortable and I slept well. God bless you all
