The location is centrally located in Main square. You can walk to everywhere, close to restaurants, shops, shopping, local market, parks, botanical garden etc. I would stay again in this location for sure

The location of the hotel was excellent. Maya gave clear check in instructions beforehand, we had a studio and was perfect for 2 people. It was close to shops, restaurants and pick up point for tours. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing at this apartment and Maya was very friendly and helpful.The only thing missing was a balcony as it would have been nice to have sat outside. We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to visit again sometime. Many thanks Maya for a wonderful stay in Zagreb.

The location is great for exploring around Zagreb and also close to train station for day trip to Ljubljana. Maja was very nice, she provided very clear check in and check out instructions and very helpful with all our questions.

The apartment couldn't be located in a better place. It's very central - just 6 minutes walk to the busy hub of Trg Jelacic, with its bakeries, shopping on Ilica avenue and wide range of pubs and restaurants. The wonderful parks and central railway station are also few minutes' walk away. There are boutique stores, small cafes and supermarket all around. The hairdressers Toni&Guy faces the apartment building. We had the one-bed apartment which was very spacious. The living room was large, with ample dining space and a well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty of storage space, with one set of cupboard in the bedroom and another in the hall. The king-size bed was very comfy, though the pillow was not to my liking. The bathroom was specious with a tall heated towel grill, The shower was excellent. Last but not least, Maja is an excellent host, most helpful, friendly and super communicative.

Everything was great, and lived up to expectations! Maja was a great help and hostess of the property, I truly enjoyed my stay.

Everything is great. Very convenient location, great host, All the comforts of home.Kitchen with Dishwasher, and all amenities. Surprised that there's washing machine so we were able to do laundry. The best bed ever! Great support especially for those with back pains. Maps and guide books in the property. Near supermarkets. The host is easy to communicate. She also arranged a pickup and drop off to the airport for a very reasonable fee. Maja is just wonderful. I would stay here again.

My stay at Markiz Apartments was fantastic. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable and spacious living room and separate bedroom and bathroom. Most of the museums and the main shopping and dining was a short 5 minute walk, as well as the Cathedral and the main train station in Zagreb. Maya sent me instructions on how to access the building and the apartment, and I was able to locate the keys easily once I arrived. The only minor challenge is that it’s located on the second level at the intersection of two busy streets. If you are a light sleeper, I would close all of the windows at night to minimize noise from the street. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there and would stay there again on my next trip to Zagreb.

The place is comfortable to stay in. Make sure your arrival time is known to the hostess so that she’s around to hand you the keys and give a briefing on the apartment and facilities.

The property was excellent. The owner Maja is lovely. She booked us in and advised on restaurants, places to see etc. Also arranged our airport transfer. Apartment in great location. Few minutes walk to city centre, albeit apartment very quiet. We chose to eat out but you could easily self cater as oven, fridge, cooking utensils provided. Spacious and spotless.

Centrally located and really nice place.

Maja was a great host meeting us at the apartment, giving us information and directions for our stay in Zagreb. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit.

Never given a straight 10 before. Excellent apartment! Would happily move in. Maja, the host, was fantastic. Showed us every aspect of the apartment so we’re clear on how everything works and where it was. She also provided a great map with places to eat and visit. The usual aspect of a great stay were all excellent too. Comfy bed, warm powerful shower, quiet A/C and a proper coffee machine. The extras were beyond expectation , an open Netflix account (no messing around logging into your own), a washing machine (useful given our long hot trip), well equipped kitchen should that be your preference (Zagreb has great cheap eats) and a proper iron and hairdryer. Thorough recommend this apartment.
