It was okay, I only stayed for a night. Was not really impressed with the room. Somewhat comfortable, the TV had a weird blue hue and the lamps were rusty, fairly clean though, pillows were lacking. The toiletries were subpar, But overall not bad considering the price.

Lots of noise from loud cars and highway traffic at night. Otherwise, nice staff and acceptable accommodations for a two night weekend to watch a football game.

First let me start by saying the staff were amazing! All staff were pleasant, kind and easy to talk to. We felt like we had made some friends!
However, the hotel is nice but there are a few drawbacks. We started off in one room where the AC had a high whining sound so they moved us rooms. Our next room had a shared door and unfortunately we were moved to the family row and we heard babies crying through the night and kids running all around us. The walls are just thin.
The cleanliness was a bit of a draw back too. The shower had lots of hair in it, and the floor needed a good vacuum, we had crumbs and hair sticking to our feet. There were a few live roaches near the AC we had to kill, we were on the 4th floor so I don’t believe these were just from outdoors/rain.
Overall, the hotel is nice, but some details have been overlooked.

Front desk worker(s) while checking in and checking out were rude and uninterested while we were talking to them. Bought Sodas from the front desk area and when we got to our room and started drinking them, noticed they tasted weird and saw they were months expired.

This is honestly one of our favorite places to stay in Tuscaloosa. It’s reasonably inexpensive, clean, friendly, and close to campus.

Stayed at a La Quinta Inn and Suites. Reserved a room for 5 adults. The room that we were given did not have enough room for 5. Ended up sending 2 adults to stay elsewhere. Staff at La Quinta put all blame on Hotels.com

This hotel was LOUD! The highway was so close and loud. The people upstairs and in the hall were running around, talking loud, and slamming doors. The bed was great! The couch had stains all over it.

This property is a “You get what you pay for” kinda property. Over all not terrible and worth the cheaper price. We would stay here again, it just wasn’t the best. Cons- 1 elevator was down, ice machine didn’t work on our floor, I stepped on a broken beer bottle chunk upon entering our room, and the bathtub drained very slowly. The area around the hotel was not nice and definitely don’t encourage stopping anywhere to close by. That said we never felt unsafe at the hotel.
Pros- Price, bedding was clean, staff was very nice and friendly, continental breakfast was nice, AC in the room was nice and cold, and even with many guests staying we didn’t experience excessive noise, also was only 10 minutes from UA where we were visiting.

The woman checking us in was on the phone with a customer for several minutes, so it took a minute to check in. She was very helpful once we got to check in. Once we did, it was a great room: super clean, super comfortable. I slept great! The shower was super good. Breakfast was very good, especially the eggs.
