Stayed with two other couples and it was excellent! The best place to stay on the block. Staff was amazing and accommodating.

Entry door rusted an hard to close/open. It was showing a lot of corrosion due to salty environment. Breakfast ample but so/so. $15 pp not bad I guess, if you bring a cruise ship appetite.

Very clean and friendly staff. Short stay but very nice facility

We shared bathroom with another family with small children who were not trained in proper bathroom etiquette.Pee and wet towels on the floor. Adults not much better...bottle of Gatorade left in shower, along with small plastic bags with leftover shampoo / conditioner. Pretty disgusting. .

Did not like the shared bathroom. I did not see this when I booked. Very uncomfortable.

Logan was great. 1661 allowed us to store our luggage as we waited for our room. Logan helped us check in a little early once our room was ready. Area was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.

Super clean! Great views and staff! The room itself needed to be looked at.. the dresser was cheaply made and the drawers almost fell on me.

Breakfast was delicious. Views were stunning. Staff was very friendly and stored our bikes, bags and let us use property after check-out :)

We had a great time at 1661. The farm across the street was amazing. Breakfast was really good and the afternoon wine and cheese was adorable with the birds hanging out with us. The views were breathtaking.

I had an amazing stay at this inn. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying. I stayed in a smaller room and had a shared balcony and shared bathrooms. Definitely worth it in consideration to the location being close to all of the restaurants as well as the gorgeous view. The breakfast was amazing as well as all of the staff being extremely helpful to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my stay. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly as well and I have no complaints in regard to the cleanliness of my room as well as the lobby and dining area.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. The staff was above and beyond anywhere else ive stayed in a long time. They genuinely care if you're having a good time and want to ensure your comforts and enjoyment! Such an incredible staff.

Wine at 4 and included breakfast was an unexpected plus. Staff was courteous, helpful and immediately tesponsive.

During the off season, it's a place for quiet, rest and relaxation! If you need a moment to slow down, re-center one's self, and just enjoy nature... This is the place!

The staff was wonderful. The walls are a little thin i could beat my neighbor snoring and the other neighbors talking. Otherwise everything was wonderful

Room was unique, wrap around deck, close to ferry drop off, close walking distance to any restaurant or area you need to go

The 1661 inn was a dream to stay at. I have always wanted to see block island in the winter and we finally made the trip during a freezing January weekend. I’m so glad the inn is open year round to accommodate guests. And while it was only us and one other man staying at the hotel they still offered us all the fanfare including wine and cheese and a beautiful breakfast. The room was gorgeous and the view was incredible. The sheets and towels were so soft, the room was cozy and impeccably clean. I also love that every room is different and unique in its decor! The staff was so friendly and polite. Thank you 1661 inn, we will be back :)

Off season was gorgeous and quiet and the weather and temperature were surprisingly comfortable for hiking. The availability for shopping was nonexisting which was ok for us but there were not many dining choices open on the islandbut we enjoyed what was avaiable. They had a nice continential breakfast and wine and cheese at the inn which we enjoyed. Gluten free breakfast choices were available for choosing which was much appreciated.

I love overlooking the water. The decks are really spacious with great views. The people working there are some of the warmest, nicest people I've ever met.The owner, Rita Draper is always checking in with residents to ask how they're enjoying their stay. Lovely people, lovely place. Nothing bad to say!

Staff was fantastic and accommodating.

The ceiling in our room was hard to look at. It looked more like employee housing. But we love the property overall, and the bed and bedding were very comfortable.
