Unforgettable stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma! We could not ask for better hosts full of great tips and kindness. We booked all trips and restaurants with then and all recommendations were amazing . They made our stay so placid and enjoyable with reliable and timely service. The rooms are amazing compared to the local standard. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and overlooks the famous mogotes - both from the pool or the rocking chairs. The breakfast offered at the casa is perfect - plentiful and tasty ! Do yourself a favor and book them !

We can only highly recommend Casa Lucilo y Nirma ! Once we checked in, they warmly greeted us and set the tone for a perfect stay ! Lucilo y Nirma are extremely helpful , attentive, caring and go above and beyond to make you feel like at home. We based our entire stay on their tour recommendations and local venues to eat and drink. The sunrise hike and the horse trip were our of this world-such an authentic way to explore the valleys and wild nature of Vinales! They also recommended local restaurants and each time we were speechless - restaurant to catch one of the most gorgeous sunsets in the island and another resto with idilic views nestled in the heart of Valle de Vinales. The rooftop terrace is just gorgeous , such an added value to the casa- it is ideal to freshen up after our days exploring. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable , with ensuite luxury bathroom and A/C. Rooms are very safe and are also peaceful to sleep and relax. The breakfasts are very tasty and diverse , plenty of fruits and freshly made every morning! Transportation arrangements are available -the family can get you anywhere in Cuba, comfortably ! Best place to stay in town!

Impecable stay with the the most delightful people ! We cannot say enough about our stay with Lucilo y Nirma ! It was simply perfect ! The casa is very peaceful , full of good vibes and managed by an incredibly friendly and helpful family. They offer the healthiest and richest breakfast in town, definitely a must have. They can arrange trips and excursions to amazing sunrises and off the beaten track valleys . The horse tour was our favorite ! The rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated - great value for the money ! The showers are the most amazing we had in Cuba . The green terrace is like a little jungle with lots of plants , ideal to relax and have a drink :) The rooftop pool is an A , very cool views of the mogotes and neighborhood. We would take a swim every day enjoying the amazing sunsets and fresh breeze. If you need transportation arrangements , simply ask Lucilo y Nirma, they can get you anywhere you want in Cuba for affordable prices and with very comfortable cars. We had the most amazing stay in this casa in Vinales. The room was beautifully clean, the breakfast was by far the best we had in Cuba and Alex was a great host, very informative about things to do in the area. We had a couple of powercuts while we were there but that's to be expected so it wasn't a huge issue. Vinales is absolutely beautiful, laidback, friendly and full of lovely bars and restaurants with great live music. We wish we had booked for longer and will hopefully go back some day. Alex if you read this I would love to get in touch with the lady that came round on the saturday morning with the clothes thinking they were mine - she said Bruno was her dog's father? Our host was very helpful and friendly. The location was quiet, and still close to everything. Alex, our host, recommended a beautiful located restaurant will a view over the valley where we enjoyed a great meal and sunset. All that we wanted to do was arranged. Our stay at Lucilo y Nirma exceeded our expectations! Once we booked, the hosts reached with vital information regarding our Cuba trip! They arranged a lovely car with A/C from our door in Havana to their gorgeous home! Upon arrival , Alex graciously offered local tips as for excursions/must dos and places to eat and sip on cocktails! You would be a fool if you do not follow Alex s advice -his recommendations made our Vinales stay a memorable one ! We booked the entire home and we were so comfortable and happy throughout our entire stay! The rooms , as mentioned in other comments, are simply gorgeous. A chic and minimalist decor with very thoughtful touches and all the amenities you may need for a great stay! The family is very attentive and are readily available to take care of their guests needs! WE ABSOLUTELY loved the rooftop terrace! A rooftop pool and great views is just what we needed on vacation! A little slice of heaven in Vinales! Alex & his family welcomed us with great hospitality, courtesy, education and impeccable advice to better enjoy the splendor of Vinales. Alex speaks perfect English and is a concierge host !-He can assist with advice to arrange from gorgeous sunset dinners at local farms to glamping to watch the most mind blowing sunrise ! The rooms are exceptionally clean and decorated with fine taste & are of a very high standard compared to the rest of Cuba accommodations. The bathrooms are quite luxurious and look like a magazine design! The rooftop pool with stunning views remains in our heart as we spent the most beautiful hours watching the sunsets over some local rum and cigars of course! Alex has also been very proactive in helping us to solve some inconveniences that can arise when traveling to distant and complicated countries like this one. We felt at home and safe! We never expected to find such combination of luxury & comfort in the rural area of Vinales. Room was a artfully decorated space with plenty of natural light & A/C. The bathrooms have new stylish barn doors for privacy, amazing design & reminded us of the feeling of going into a spa- the rain showers , the decorative light & the touches in the space make the shower experience just delicious! Our stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma was just perfect ! The rooms are super cosy and everything was just as expected. Alex and his parents are friendly, always available to arrange some excursions and to respond any question or simply if you want to discuss. I won’t forget my friend Bruno ! I entirely recommand their accommodation ! Hope to go back again in Viñales.

They do not have all the services they advertise and they send you to other hotels to pay to use them. This is essentially fraud. After I arrived I was told that they did not have drinking water and that guests have to buy their own in the town. They didn't say this before I arrived and the shops were shut so I went thirsty. They say that wifi is included but you have to pay by the hour and they also don't sell the cards that give you internet so you have to travel across the town. They also turn off the router regularly meaning that they are constantly guests asking to turn on the internet. The tours and taxis they organised were useless. The street they are on has lots of animals, including lots of roosters so it is impossible to get a good nights sleep. They said this was normal for Cuba but it was not normal everywhere I went and I travelled a lot. Of the 5 places I stayed in Cuba this was by far the worst and I would not go back.

This charming casa was immaculate. I was struck immediately with the lovely courtyard filled with tropical plants. The family and staff were so welcoming and helpful, organizing transportation and assisting with different activities. I loved my stay in Vinales, and this accommodation really set the tone for a fabulous visit!

I had a lovely stay. Everyone is super nice and super helpful. The family organised all my taxis and tours and even my restaurant reservation at Paradisi (?) fir sunset for me, and made everything easy. The casa has plenty of outside space in the courtyard and up on the first floor terrace and deck to spread out. And not forgetting Bruno, the lovely friendliest lab.

We wholeheartedly do recommend Casa Lucilo y Nirma. Our stay here was amazing and the highlight of our Cuba trip ! The casa has Two terraces full of plants and are ideal to chilax . One of the terraces has a lovely view specially when the sun is setting. Hosts are very kind and extremely helpful . They can arrange your stay if you wish so and I would highly recommend to follow their advise :) We went on trips they arranged and no regrets! The rooms are beyond extraordinary for the Cuban standards , well equipped with powerful A/C and minibar , Two double beds with soft and super clean sheets are details they matter ! The showers are amazing , photos Do not make justice to these luxurious and delightful bathrooms! Breakfasts were delicious and nutritious- do not go anywhere else for breakfast ❤️ We only wish we could live in the area and own such a sweet home !

Our stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma has been the highlight of our Cuba trip ! The hosts are incredibly helpful and always in the best disposition to assist - they went out of their way to help us in any way - this is highly appreciated when traveling in a foreign country. The room we booked surpassed our expectations, beautifully furnished with great taste, fully equipped with A/C and minbar and confortable double beds and plenty of natural light. We did have the best sleep quality in our trip here. The terraces are lush and peaceful- little green spaces that we loved. Breakfasts were amazing , freshly made every morning and very diverse . We looked forward to breakfast every morning :) We can only highly recommend this casa , a hidden gem in a fantastic location in Vinales!

We had a great stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma and their cute dog Bruno. The room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 weeks holiday in Cuba. The family is very friendly and smiley and they definitely made our stay in Vinales even better. Only minus is that the wifi was not working during our entire stay there but other than that, we really enjoyed everything especially the rooftop garden.

This casa is a hidden gem in Vinales Valley. The owners are very warm , gracious, friendly and will make you feel like at home! You will feel like in family but at the same time they will respect your privacy! The rooms are gorgeous, kind of luxurious with plenty of amenities and CHARMING bathrooms. They offer two terraces full of green to chillax, this will only make it feel more private and inviting ! The property and owners are gay friendly, this js the reason we decided to choose this property for our stay! This casa particular is spotless, comfortable and owned but the sweetest hosts!. Each room we rented had two double beds, a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, water and a shower with hot and cold water.The most beautiful rooms we saw in Cuba, we were amazed by the elegance and the design of the the gorgeous bathrooms. Great rooftop terrace as well as a couple of rocking chairs expands your living area. The hosts will arrange a memorable horseback riding for you. As well they arranged a walking tour through the National park where we visited an organic coffee farm, and rum maker, tobacco farm with hand rolled cigars, a cave and an overlook with refreshment stand.Overall, great experience, great value and exceptional service !

Absolutely A MUST! This Casa is spectacular. After carefully reading so many reviews, we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. Immaculately clean beautiful rooms designed with great taste to really good quality matching towels and the best shower we had in Cuba. Nirma s cooking is amazing and can recommend both the breakfasts and dinners, made with love and the portions are massive. What we also liked about it was our room was accessible both independently and through the house, so we had the best of both worlds as we had a Casa feel with the freedom of our own place, that was great when coming in later from a night out. The roof terrace with stunning views was an amazing spot to have a beer or read a book and is worth booking this Casa just for that but we must say the real reason to book this Casa is for the family. These hosts were faultless, welcoming, extremely helpful and go above and beyond to give you a memorable stay ! Book without hesitation!

Fabulous property! Book without hesitation! We were hesitant if we should travel to Cuba , Vinales at all ,because of Covid basically. Well, out trip was worth every penny, specially because of the choice we made by having stayed at Casa Lucilo y Nirma! The family is welcoming, attentive , caring and they go above and beyond to make you have an unforgettable stay ! The prepared us the most delicious and nutritious breakfast( that is going above and beyond given the current scenario with food in Cuba), even super early just before we left. They offer Wi-Fi on site which is super convenient and they are expert planners if you wish your taxi colectivo to go to the beach or any other destinations. The rooms are beyond my words! We were impressed , even by European standards.They are elegantly designed and are very confortable. The bathrooms are to die for, the most beautifully decorated we have seen in Cuba! The water pressure was perfect and hot water runs 24/7 Impeccable cleanliness and a fresh and luxurious feel will welcome you once you are back from your day trips! we could not have picked a better place to stay!!!!

They gave our room away

Unfortunately we did not stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma - on arrival the host explained that he had a family emergency and that we would be accommodated at his friends casa. Incidentally, another couple arrived on day 2 of our stay who had also booked at Casa Lucilo y Nirma and been relocated & told due to a broken shower. Regardless, the casa we did stay at was very nice, clean & comfortable. The host at Casa Lucilo y Nirma had offered me a tea when he learned I was unwell & came over to refund our final nights stay promptly when we decided to leave Vinales a day early.

Casa was in a good location with clean room but very limited balcony space with no view. The only afternoon we sat out it was very noisy as lots of building work happening in the area.

The property is run by very nice and helpful people, who also provide tasty breakfast. everything is very clean and in order. However the room plus services is offered as a 'bungalow' for 4 people, which is a bit less comfortable than expected.
