Great location and the service was spectacular!

The Hostal is on one of the main roads that leads to the square and in walking distance of all main locations. The room is large and airy and the breakfast excellent. The host was great and was very helpful with everything.

The best place we have been in Cuba! The whole house looks like a museum + the patio is so cute, you'll never believe it from the outside The owner takes great care of the house and had good recommandations for restaurants/places to eat The breakfast was also very good! In terms of location, it is located very near the main place in Santa Clara - Leoncio Vidal, the best way to get there from the viazul station is to take a taxi or to walk, we walked to the hostal My boyfriend and I kind of regret not staying longer tbh

Great location just off the main square and great breakfast. Warm welcome and very helpful host. Large room with lots of storage space. Just be aware the bed had a very soft mattress which may not suit everyone.

An amazing casa very close to the main square of Santa Clara. We had a large room with a huge en- suite shower room. There is a beautiful garden within the casa where we enjoyed our wonderful breakfasts. Brilliant hosts who arranged for a taxi to pick us up from & drop us off at the bus station. Our host was particularly helpful when I had a sore knee, helping me out with ice and anti-inflammatories. A wonderful place to stay in Santa Clara. We loved our stay here and highly recommend.

Hostal D'Cordero was our favourite accommodation from our Cuba vacation. We stayed 2 nights and felt so welcomed by the host. He was easy to find during our stay to ask questions, and ordered us a taxi to the bus station when we left. The host and staff monitor the outside door, so it feels very secure. The inner courtyard is certainly a highlight of the place. Full of tropical plants. We were served a great breakfast of fresh fruit, coffee, smoothie, eggs, and toast. Would highly recommend!

This was an excellent experience for me. My favorite place on our Cuba adventure. The inner courtyard was pleasant and peaceful. The upper terrace was a nice place to feel comfortable and quiet for reading or thinking about your adventures. The table setting made me feel like I was in a French cafe. Highly recommended!

Very clean and great location.

Hostel D'Cordero is a lovely place, filled with beautiful antiques, all lovingly maintained. It all feel so spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful crown molding, and it is all so comfortable. The owner speaks excellent English, which make it all so much easier for us with our limited Spanish. They also helped us by arranging airport and other transfers at a reasonable price. The hostel is only 2 block from the town center, so that is much to see and do nearby.

We had to book a stay in Santa Clara at short notice and were delighted, and very lucky to get this spot. The accommodation is very high quality, the location is perfect to explore the town, and the owner did all he could to assist us in every way possible. The breakfast was superb! Cannot recommend this place highly enough

We stayed 2 nights at this amazing place!!! This old colonial house has a beautiful and quiet courtyard. Super friendly owners who are always there for you. We only had breakfast, and we thought it was delicious. The room was spotless and spacious. We would highly recommend this place to those traveling to Santa Clara!! What a lovely place to stay. This is definately a recommedation! Very nice hosts and a wonderfull house and yard. A caring service for breakfast and even a dinner is a great idea (for our next stay) They serve good lamb!! The historic house is well equipped and furnitured with a lot of tastefull furniture and gives a wonderfull atmosphere... we will stay there again whenever close and from here a warm invitation to our hosts to visit us in Berlin

Above average hotel for Cuban standards. Everything was very clean and organized. Hotel provides meal service if you wish. The assistance provided by the host left me very disappointed. Host is focused on getting the most profit out from customers as much as possible. By this fact I would not recommend this place

The (optional) breakfast and dinner are reasonably priced and can be taken in a well appointed inner courtyard with a nice and colourful tropical feel. The hosts and their staff are very friendly and will do everything possible to help their guests. They arranged a driver for us for airport transfer and another ride. Another great feature of Hostal d'Cordero is that it is located less than two blocks away from Santa Clara's main square, Parque Vidal, and a pleasant 2-km walk to some of the main sights in the city, the Mausoleum to Che to the west and the Loma del Capiro heights to the east, with several points of interest along the way. This place is a very good base to explore Cuba's central and southern regions.
