There were homeless people right outside of the hotel which make night time travelling dangerous. There is a public parking right outside of the hotel which I presume is much cheaper.
They charge additional cost for WIFI usage and gym usage which was a shock. But then again in a country like the US not that surprising after all

We had a nice stay at the Godfrey. Staff was friendly, amenities were nice and clean, and the on-site restaurants and bar were good, though a liiiittle over priced IMO. We enjoyed the live music in the downstairs bar area. Will stay here again!

Check-in to the hotel was nice and friendly. The service at the rooftop bar was less than enjoyable as we had to go to the bar to order & our food came out in a cardboard box with no plates and silver or napkins ! Definitely not what a guest at a 4 star hotel expects!

We weren’t given the VIP bonuses promised when purchased. We weren’t allowed into our room until 30+ mins AFTER checkin. The room was boiling when we arrived and every afternoon. It was in poor condition. Hot water wasn’t always available. It was expensive and miserable.

It was a decent stay, there was an issue with the shower and when notified later (after the shower) had it corrected so the next guest wouldn’t have the issue. All were courteous, we would probably have no issue staying here again.

IO the rooftop restaurant was atrocious. Nice setting great view. The food and waitstaff were the laziest and most entitled I have encountered. Food was soulless, made for Instagram post but not flavor. Pricing was reasonable. I had to find the waitress to get a drink and close out. She never checked on us the whole time. I had a couch next to the pool and a lady I cared about with me.

Bed was comfortable. Not much room to work. Food was overpriced. Some staff were straight rude to people. Also, $55 a day parking is additional you will have to pay. Cost me another $360 out of pocket.

This hotel is super nice, but in an area that is not great. Also the hotel hosts rooftop parties that are extremely noisy (the hotel even gives you earplugs in your room, so they know it’s noisy) and the crowd for those parties results in the elevators to be often too crowded to use or filled with intoxicated people. All in all, for the money I might stay somewhere else if I’m ever in LA again !

Id you want nice relaxing hotel, this is not the place. This is for young nice clubers. Rooftop lounge plays music til midnight and can here the base of the music. They do put ear plugs in room to muffle some of the noise.
I was a little upset the weekend stayed the pool has a private event and could not access are all. They should have still let hotel guest access it... not during the labor day weekend. Luckily was only staying Sat-Sun nights checked out Monday.

Rooftop party that went to 2 am, never was told about this when we booked. The noise vibrated throughout the room and we were on the 3rd floor. Very disappointing, inappropriate, and disrespectful. The staff was very standoffish as well.

Staff were very attentive and professional ..We did get stuck in one elevator ..But once out the manager Jerrel was awesome ..Changed our room to a lower floor refunded one night back to me gave us complementary breakfast and free happy hour for our whole stay …

Great property! Super close walking distance to everything Hollywood. Every weekend night we were there was pool parties, live music in the bar, a night pool party. Great fun!

The room was nice, however it felt like it was more about style than practical. TV was huge but it didn’t need to be, they definitely needed to utilise the space there as we pretty much lived out of suitcases due to the lack of storage. Unfortunately there was also a smell of weed coming through the bathroom and it could be noisy on occasion. All being said I would stay there again as it was convient and the rooftop pool although small was nice.

This is a nice hotel. However, be warned! They have parties and events in the rooftop bar on the weekends that are VERY loud. On both Friday and Saturday of my stay the room (3 floors down from the roof) literally vibrated with the drums and bass from upstairs until 2 am. If you want quiet, this is not it. Also, disappointing they don’t have microwaves or bigger mini-fridges in the rooms.
