Clean hotel. AC didn’t work well. Spoke with front desk about it. Marriott controls room temperature beyond room thermostat to keep expenses down. I was told that room activity keeps the AC working. When we would sleep, the AC would turn off. The breakfast had nice variety but quality was low. First day the scrambled eggs were burnt black. Second day there were no eggs other than cold hard boiled. Both days the sausage patties were leather. The last day of 3 nights, I had an emergency so I had to leave around 8 pm but paid for the night anyways even though I gave the room back. For $200 per night I can stay at any hotel in Ocala and I’ll try a different hotel next time.

A very pleasant clean hotel

The Staff was very friendly. Breakfast has a many varieties and was so good. The room was clean.

The hotel was a convenient spot for our trip because it was close to the family we were visiting and right off the interstate. The staff was friendly and the place is nice. The only complaint I had was the smell. It smelled like mildewed carpet. The halls, the stair wells but mostly in our room. I had to keep the ac super cold, which was unpleasant, but it helped with the smell. Maybe when you change the carpet out consider laminate flooring. All the way around that’s a better option for cleanliness and trapped odors.

Great hotel for our road trip. I love that. The room has two queen beds plus the pullout sofa, just in case we have stragglers. Everything is clean and recently renovated, looking sharp. The breakfast buffet is just right.

Room was half clean. A/C made a terrible noise. Coffee maker had something growing in it. Refrigerator was so cold it blew up my can of monster.

Very convenient to everything! Staff are all nice and helpful. Would book a stay there again.

Property was clean, staff was helpful, furniture was in excellent condition, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice! I’d definitely stay a Springhill Suites again!

Super clean! Breakfast was the best you going to get with a free hotel breakfast. It included waffles, eggs, sausage, an oatmeal bar with loads of toppings and all the usual bagels, fruit, etc. The room was huge with a pullout sofa bed it could have slept 6. My only issue was the bathroom door was frosted glass and if you had the light on in the bathroom it lit up the whole bedroom. Which is only an issue when everyone is sleeping. Otherwise, it was an absolute perfect stay. Added bonus: the pool is heated!

The property was clean and rooms very spacious. We had an issue with television and had to fix it ourselves as only one staff member at property. Staff were not very friendly or helpful in anyway.

Very impressed. Hotel desk was super friendly fast, and knowledgeable. It’s hard to find competency these days and this was an easy quick check in. Only thing negative was that there is no parking for trailers at all, and had to park at the Sam’s Club lot next door but that turned out to be ok with no problems.

No hot water in shower. Cleaned room every other day. Didn’t put fresh glasses, cups in room. Didn’t replenish coffee. Room key blocked before checkout time. Eggs in breakfast buffet burnt. Found a hair in my eggs. Waffle maker broken. Paid over $1000 for 3-night stay.

Nice room

Wonderful stop on the way to Miami. Was pleasantly surprised by the spacious double queen room, had a pull out futon under the couch which made it so kids didn’t have to share a bed. The indoor pool was also heated which made it much more enjoyable.

The person on the front desk was very very kind but the room wasn’t clean the bed was smelly, very poor maintenance but also the breakfast area has a lady that even if you ask her something she makes like you don’t exist. I was asking for a high chair and one of the other guest has to helped me because she did not even looked at me. I will not come back

The entire reason we booked this property was for the indoor pool and we were not informed when booking OR upon checking that it was under maintenance.

Was pleasantly surprised. Room was great. Lobby and common areas all extremely clean . The breakfast in the morning was such an easy and relaxing way to start the day. The desk was courteous and efficient

Pet fee over prized. The maid knocked 2 hours before check out. Not pleased about those 2 things. Can't speak about ut breakfast pretty sure they said till 10:30 and they closed at 10 am.

Pool closed during visit

King room was spacious and very well appointed. Bedding was comfortable and there were convenient outlets and USB ports at the bedside. Bath products were extremely high quality and shower pressure exceptional.

I stayed for 4 days while visiting a nearby friend. 3rd time staying here. I don't have anyone clean my room during my visit because I prefer no one to come into the room during my stay. So I made the bed every day and kept the room neat and clean. PROS: Great location, big rooms, quiet, nice indoor pool (I was the only one in it every day), great breakfast with rotating items daily, very nice hotel employees. Always pleasant and nice to speak with. Reasonable room rate. Plenty of parking. I felt safe coming and going to my car. The hotel is just off the main drag, so I didn't see cars driving by all night. Check in/out at desk is fast. I could've checked out on my phone, but I prefer a face-to-face check out. CONS: The interior twist lock on my room door was not working/locking. They came right up and checked it. I was offered a different room but I didn't want to move everything as I had already unpacked, so I was okay with just having a keycard and the little extra door "device" as security. They said they'd fix it after I checked out. The hallway could have used a vacuuming. Aside from those little issues, it was a perfect stay. I'll always stay here on my visit to Ocala. There's no reason to switch to another hotel.

The hotel is supposed to be pet friendly. There was Nowhere to walk a dog on this property, no grass! They also tried to charge me $150 pet charge, twice as much as any other place! Property is at least newish, so rooms were nice, good air conditioning. Regards. Ned.
