We stayed in the South Bldg. and we had to walk back and forth between the South and North Bldgs. It was hard for my mother who was on the wheelchair. The room was old and did not look like the website. Though the hot spring was excellent, and the meals were awesome.

The airconditioner is not cold. There is a bad sewage smell coming from the toilet.

Room smelled like it was an old smoking room.

Nice place and locy good

This hotel appears to boast many amenities and has a very nice, modern lobby. However, it's all for show. The rooms themselves are old. Our room was too warm and the thermostat didn't work. Also our room was supposed to be for 3 adults yet there were only 3 plugs available in the entire room (i.e. you can only plug in a total of 3 devices at a time). It was also strange that they could only provide us with one key, again for a room with 3 adults. Furthermore, all extra amenities in the hotel come with a charge, even table tennis!!! The only included activity is the public bath, except for most of the massage machines there which also come with a fee. Overall the stay was still passable since the room was clean and staff were courteous.

Restaurant was expensive but we found great local restaurants within walking distance. Nice and close location to cable cars and pirate ship.

Western-Japanese room was very spacious for a family of 5. Bathroom in the room was ok. The big spa (onsen) was great! Breakfast (buffet style) was nice also.
