The staff were very friendly. It was convenient staying across the street from Kings Cross/St Pancras station as it was a direct line to and from Heathrow. Also our day trip to Paris train was right there. The tube made travel easier throughout the city.

I paid $500/night for a room that had no windows and a shower that flooded the entire bathroom every time I used it. Seriously?

Love this hotel. Suites are done properly with gorgeous comfy beds, baths, robes, coats and more, and ell stocked mini bar and excellent hotel bar. Our go to when visiting London.

I enjoyed my 2 stays at The Standard. The staff was outstanding, both of my rooms were comfortable, wonderfully appointed and of course, clean. I wish that I remembered the names of each of the staff members who welcomed and assisted me during my stay. The hotel has a very plush and contemporary vibe.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The room was really spacious and so comfortable. The bed was huge and so so comfy! Service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. It was my partner’s birthday and we received 2 free cocktails whilst waiting for our room. We were able to check in early which was amazing. The personalised text service to arrange a cake for my partner in the room was so helpful too. We will definitely stay again and recommend, it was perfect! We tried to recreate the sofa photo but didn’t do very well!

I love the 70s vibe of this hotel, super chic - wish I was staying more than one night to really appreciate it. Staff were friendly and helpful from the second I was outside the hotel with my bags and were ready to help with whatever I needed!

I'm very happy with our stay in Standard Hotel. Geate location for easy transportation and excellent customer services. Will definitely come back when travel in London again.

The hotel staff was very nice and the food was exceptional at Decimo. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room left MUCH to be desired with debris splattered in the wall, someone’s hair left in the shower, someone’s eyelashes left in the filthy tub, a filthy and stained bathroom floor, debris all around the carpeted floor, and a countertop that I wiped down myself to find it left behind a grimy tissue. Not to mention the tattered sheet/duvet cover and the obvious old blood I found on my pillow. I would recommend checking out the restaurant and the bar on the 10th floor if you have a chance but I would stay elsewhere if you would like to be comfortable when you return to your room.

Third time staying at this hotel. It’s always a great place to recover from a transatlantic flight. Great staff, loved the rooms, grateful for the gym even though it’s limited, great food and drink options.

We were staying in London before getting the Eurostar to France and The Standard is about as convenient as you can get without paying the exorbitant prices at the St Pancras Hotel. Having said that, it wasn't cheap, but that is London these days. There was a problem with our credit card - their machine kept getting an error - and the woman at the desk blamed it on our card, saying it was because it was a cash-back card, which has nothing to do with it working! I'm sure it was an issue with either their machine or our bank, but the error code was useless. We ended up having to use a debit card which wasn't ideal. It would perhaps have been better to have us try again later in the day. They had the card number from the reservation and it worked then anyway. Aside from that, the room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and wasn't noisy as is sometimes the case. We had a drink on the roof terrace which was OK, but there were no places to sit and the drinks were pre-mixed which is a bit disappointing at the price. Dinner in Isla was very nice and the service was very good. We had wanted to eat at Decimo but it was being renovated which it didn't say anywhere on the website, so that was a bit disappointing as well. All in all, it was useful for our needs, but definitely isn't cheap.

We had a wonderful stay at the Standard London. The perfect location across from Kings Cross and St. Pancras made it easy to travel around - perfect location especially if you plan to go to Paris! I also loved the design details of the hotel (both interior and exterior) that reminded me of the transportation in London!

Wonderful location with ready access to several underground lines, buses and intercity trains. Could not have been more pleased. Queen room was great & comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful and the front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel is also very central to the city and metro. The room did not have enough power outlets to charge our electronics. There was only one with the UK adaptor plug and one with the European plug outlet. The room was very tight to move around, the dining table makes it too crowded. The mattress was not very comfortable either, seems like an air mattress.

Fab hotel, friendly staff, great location

A fantastic 70s inspired design throughout but there are issues with the room - I found the bed uncomfortable - and they charge £25 for a very disappointing breakfast - very limited buffet. I am glad we stayed so we could enjoy the trip back in time but I wouldn't stay there again.

Great location. Staff was helpful when I needed to see a doctor, they arranged an in house visit. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh juices were amazing.

Perfect location!

The hotel property was very nice. The front desk was very accommodating and easy to work with. The accounting is poor. They incorrectly charged for a restaurant bill automatically and then over charged for what they did charge me. They are not only keeping my deposit but charging me more for the incorrect charges. I am in contact with them in hopes of getting a rpartial efund. I did turn my keys in to front desk and told we were good to go, no discussion or sign off on any charges pending. Watch your bill.

Great location top hotel!

Loved the hotel. We were going to see Taylor Swift at Wembley and it was perfect. Great location for seeing the city. Room was really comfortable and the table and sofa area was really handy!

Fantastic hotel! Great design and incredible views - best part was the service. The staff went the extra mile to make our anniversary that bit more special. Looking forward to our next trip.
