Staff, Location & Property amazing. Tranquil gardens & jacuzzi were a welcomed relief after a day out.

The hotel was like a small oasis in the busy Main Street of Corso Umberto. The room was lovely with a small outside seating area. It could be noisy as it is on the Main Street but this did not adversely impact my stay and proximity to bars and restaurants was worth it for me

Amazing stay at Relais 147! What a beautiful place in the perfect location right at the center of Taormina, yet a tranquil oasis all day around even when Corso Umberto was full of vibrant life morning, noon and night. Our host Rohid with family was fantastic in every way in terms of service, recommendations of great restaurants and above all, a very gentle, nice kind and interresting persona. You immediately feel this place is special. Lovely refurbished house, turned hotel, with some elements dating back to the 1500's. Charming garden (with a small heated pool). Very impressed, thank you for our stay!

Relais 147 is ideally located in the heart of Taormina. Rohid was available for all of our questions and was quick to address any request we had during our three night stay. We will return and we recommend to anyone visiting Taormina.

This property is on the main walkway of the town, a little hidden gem with a beautiful outside area and spacious rooms. The staff could not do enough for us and made us feel so welcome

Very nice place. Rohid the host was excellent with tips on dining, places to go and on hand WhatsApp if you are stuck. Breakfast was also wonderful with fresh produce in abundance.

Great lcation and ambience. This is a Very unique to setting tucked away in the middle the main street of Taormina...gardens,outdoor couches,hammocks, hot tub, fruit trees, breakfast on the terrace. We had an "attic" room with beams across the ceiling.very spacious. Only complaint was that shower adjustments were quirky and shower pan drained slowly, creating a backup that almost overflowed into bathroom. One caveat: Be prepared for many stairs! Our host, Salvo, was lovely...kind, courteous and helpful.

This truly is the secret garden of Taormina: an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the main strip! This place is special: an unassuming door whisks you off the main drag and into a beautifully kept home complete with hot tub, outdoor lawn area with hammocks, trees, plants, and (fake) grass, a (small but sufficient) gym area, and plenty of outdoor living space (tables, couches, seating area, etc.) to make your stay comfortable and homey. It is unlike any other place I've experienced outside of a hotel in Italy and Europe, and at an affordable price. About 10 min walk from parking, so you can leave your car and enjoy Relais 147 and Taormina on foot! Filling breakfast to give you the energy for your day. Communal books and staff are available to help you plan your time effectively, and are very communicative and helpful online as well. A/C in rooms was not as powerful as we would like given the heat but it did not matter because we loved everything else about the space, the bed, the great storage in the room, and the views of Etna from our window! We are coming back and staying here again at our home-away-from-home : Relais 147!

Property is a quiet respite from a very busy street. Great location in the center of Old Town.

Excellent accommodation, right in the center of the city. Nice rooms, nice garden. Breakfast is good as well. Salvo is a very good host as well. Only caveat is that, intrinsic to the location, the noise of music from the nearby restaurant can be heard. But it ends at an acceptable time (between 23-24:00) Highly recommended and thinking of returning for another stay.

Salvo took great care of us during our stay. The location is a hidden gem within Taormina. It’s a busy tourist area in the centre which we wanted to be in the heart of everything and we felt at home here. It’s very closed to all the attractions. We will definitely return.

I stayed at Relais 147 for 2 nights to enjoy Taormina and Etna wine country. The setting was a beautiful oasis right off the main pedestrian street. There was a wonderful peaceful courtyard and my room was generously sized with a very nice semi-private enclosed deck. Breakfast was included and was very good with lots of baked goods, some fruit, and eggs.Unfortunately, my trip started with delayed luggage at Palermo airport. I was having issues coordinating the arrival and delivery of my luggage as I was moving around the island. Salvo, the owner, was amazing in helping out. He offered his contact with the airline and also phoned the baggage service to help coordinate it all, while I went off wine tasting.He recommended 2 great restaurants to eat at during my stay and both were less touristy than the main strip options with authentic food.I would absolutely recommend staying at Relais 147 and plan to return in the future.

Brilliant Main Street location. All points of interest and restaurants close. Perfect attention to esthetic design from host Salvo. Service was great as well.

Beautiful property right in the center of old town in Taormina. The secret garden where breakfast is served is one of the highlights. The owner was super responsive and goes out of his way. If you have time, get a massage there - you won’t be disappointed. Can’t go wrong with Relais 147!

Salvo was an amazing host and we had everything we needed. Relais 147 was a great little boutique hotel hidden off the Main Street in the town so was perfect location. We loved every moment of our stay. Will definitely be back again.

The property is located in the most perfect location right in the middle of the Main Street in Taormina. It is easy to access with your luggage after your taxi drops you off at the main area (ask them to drop you off at “Porto Catania”. Then it’s straight down the Main Street about 150 ft. The place has a charming courtyard, a great breakfast and a friendly couple that runs the B & B. It’s a great deal

Loved our stay at Relais 147! On the main road, behind the door youll find a private oasis. Everything is well decorated - from the outdoor space to the shared space on the main floor, to our room. Though it appeared small (Master Suite Jonio) - you have a walk in closet to store your luggage, and a large outdoor private balcony which significantly adds room, and is a great place to relax after traipsing around town! Rosj and her husband are lovely - very friendly and helpful. For those who love small places to stay vs large, impersonal hotels - do not hesitate to stay here, you wont regret it!

This property is absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. Very centrally located for great food selection and must see sights are all in easy walking distance. The hosts Salvatore and Rosj are lovely hosts that provide very useful local information and incredibly obliging ensuring any request is happily and efficiently managed. I Highly recommend this property.

Amazing home! Yes home. The attention to detail is impressive the hospitality even more. It is super centrally located - you will find your self few steps away from the center of town. The hosts are warm, welcoming and always ready to help. The room was extremely clean and the design was modern and relaxing. We had the opportunity to stay in a room with semi - private terrace. The pictures of which will speak for itself. Everything around the house had a special touch , the secret garden with the hammocks, the lounge area , the terrace with retracting roof . It is an oasis in the buzzing city center ... really we are grateful for the hospitality and recommend this place with no reservations.
