Only one Malt Whiskey, Only one Cognac, Manager did not seem interested in our desire for choice; I have a better bar at home. Pretentious thogh tasty food. Small drab room with depresssing colour scheme, bare walls ~ no pictures.

Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. We had a king size room overlooking the harbour. It was up a few flights of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Use of guest pantry which was a lovely touch. Very good breakfast menu. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

We love this hotel. It was our 4th visit in 4 years and it does not disappoint!
The area around it is perfect for a slowed down weekend getaway full of fresh air good food and comfort.
You can eat in other locations at the Weir or walk up to Porlock (bit of a long hill) or walk across to Bossington (6 mile round trip across the bay). However the pizzas on the Terrace are really great with a cider to watch the sun go down.

We had the most wonderful stay and really wish we could have stayed longer, we didn’t want to leave! The most beautiful view to wake up to every morning, gorgeous pub next door, yummy food and the friendliest people - we can’t wait to come back!

hello very nice stay lovely staff i think i would pick a front bedroom if we went back the main menu very good but no steaks not a lot of chicken choice service a one bed room clean but a bit small i have a little moan regarding dogs in hotel dont get me wrong i love dogs but i not in bedrooms were other s have to stay as dogs do give off some smells i think we would return

Lovely hotel in a great position. Hotel provided parking permit for general car park about 25 yards from hotel. Easy. We stayed for 2 nights completing 2 days at start of the South West Coastal Path. Easy bus routes to Minehead and Lynmouth. Then all you have to do is walk back.

This was our third time at the hotel, once at the old Millers and twice under the new ownership. It was simply fantastic, the hotel is beautiful and continues to grow and develop e.g. the new gardens at the rear. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with taste, but the secret to this hotels success are the staff, they are simply lovely. The food, evening and breakfast, is excellent, particular thanks to Linda and to Becky (birthday decorated sweet).

Loved our stay at Porlock weir Hotel. They looked after us and our dog very well. We had a Harbour view room which gave the most fantastic view of the sea and early morning surfers. The staff were attentive and the food was great.

The location was fantastic, and was the reason we booked the hotel. The sea view room gave the promised vistas.
The staff were very welcoming. Some were less experienced, but all made us feel at home.
Breakfast was very good with good variety of dishes.

Really lovely hotel for a 5 day staycation in Somerset. We had a room overlooking the beautiful weir. Good facilities and well decorated. The hotel provide free parking vouchers for the car park across the road which is great as it would’ve been £12 per day otherwise.The food is really very good and we chose to have dinner in the hotel 3 of the 5 nights as we actually couldn’t be bothered driving into Porlock. Breakfast was included and the choice was excellent.The staff were all very friendly and accommodating
