Staff was great and loved our stay. The bed was a little small but made it work for the short time there.

The property was unique and charming! it was very clean and close to everything. I walked everywhere and they even provided a bike that I was able to ride. But my absolute favorite thing there was Joyce, she made my stay so enjoyable. I want to go back already so I can have a good conversation with her. I have already recommended this place to about 6 people. I can not wait to go back.!! this time I may get a cabin with the family! ( they are on the river, with a pier)

Cozy room. Nice common room with full kitchen. Great fruit & breakfast options. Filtered water always available was enjoyable. Cute boardwalk behind and park next door. Short walk to delicious restaurants, shopping, beach & pier.

I cannot express how happy I was to find this beautiful place! We stayed in the Drunken Sailor cottage and it felt like home. Owner thinks of lots of little details to make you feel welcome. Perfect location, very kind yet professional staff, welcomed us immediately. Gave great directions for a super easy checkin. I didn’t want to leave. I can’t wait to make this my “home” next time I visit Folly Beach! Thank you all!

Our room was right off the dining room so there wasn’t much privacy. But the place was very clean and cute. I’d definitely stay here again, just in a different room.

Felt comfortable and welcoming. Super easy walk to beach, shops and food. Very laid back. Loved it!!!

The bed which was listed as acceptable for two adults really was not. It was a double bed with a poor mattress, every time my husband moved my body moved and we kept bumping each other in our sleep. Check out was at 11, but housekeeping came in at 10am unannounced when we were not even dressed yet.

Although I was only able to stay one night. Everything about this place was very nice. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent room for one person one night in February.. perfect for what I needed. I met cleaning staff but otherwise was on my own to come and go.. which is just what I wanted. Will defiantly come again for a solo trip!..

I loved this property. My husband and I stayed here for a few nights. It was well worth the money. My husband and I really enjoyed a much needed get away in this charming, cozy and beautiful cottage.

What a great little place! Most accommodating for any need from beach towels to umbrellas! They have it all! Need a snack, fresh cookies daily and treats in the kitchen ! Self help breakfast for on the go!

My wife and I booked a room at the inn, #5 The Betty White room. Our first 24 hours we didn't have any hot water. The problem was taken care late afternoon second day. The inn is old but in good clean condition, however the floor, walls and ceiling are wood plank and you will hear every step your neighbor takes as well as their conversations. There are blinds on the windows but they do little to block out light. We bought cheap towels and blankets at Walmart to make it a little darker our second night. Very close to down town so everything is pretty much within walking distance. Parking is on the street.

The inn was tucked away just off the main drag of Folly beach but felt quiet and secluded regardless. I was able to easily walk to the convention center on the beach each morning. The staff was kind and welcoming and I loved the almost hostel feel of the common area with breakfast and drinks available. The room was small, cozy and comfortable. I would certainly stay again. A unique stay at the beach!

Very clean room - bit noisy (outside noise, bed noisy) - power outlets all used up, have to unplug something to charge phones etc. - bed mattress rolls you to outside of bed - great atmosphere and very friendly people.

Joyce and her staff of one are amazing. The property is not cookie cutter quality. You feel at home immediately upon arrival. Thanks for everything Joyce.

My two teenage daughters and I had a very pleasant stay in the Drunken Sailor Cottage. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Also very easy to walk to restaurants and shops. I really liked that there were beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles that any guest could borrow. We needed clean towels during our stay and Laura brought them right over. I would definitely stay here again.

Riverside is just a perfect Folly Beach vibe. Laid back and very cool. Kat and Joyce keep the place clean, welcoming, and full of personality. Recommended!

Last minute booking for an extended weekend getaway. Definitely a nice spot and great location. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Property was unique and enjoyable. 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. Off street parking was no issue. Rooms were attractive, clean and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. I felt like I was at home in the kitchen area. Looking forward to next stay. Highly recommended.
