A bit old, but good deal for the price. Practical and does the job.

I was not expecting anything spectacular but when I pulled in off the road I was certain I had made a grave mistake. The property is not overly welcoming looking and definitely needs a lot of TLC. With my reservation, the check-in process was very easy. I was relieved I had the room right next to the office as I was traveling alone. The door to my room did not give me a lot of confidence in my safety. The room appeared very clean but in need of a make over. There was not a ‘do not disturb’ sign to be able to put outside the door. No coffee maker. The desk/dresser area was very cluttered with cables and cords. The bathroom was incredibly small and the shower head was so low I had to bend down to wet my hair. The 5am morning time was very noisy. I’m not certain what was happening outside but it seemed someone was having a morning smoke and just being generally noisy and annoying. Overall, I survived and had zero safety issues, even coming in after dark. The room was comfortable for what I needed. The shower was warm and refreshing. I had extremely limited staff interaction as I did not see anyone other than check-in and one other time when I asked for them to not enter my room to tidy things up.

Don't let the one star rating and appearance fool you. On a Saturday for 47 bucks it was quiet, and peaceful. Grew up in Cadillac and compared to other hotels in the area this is just as good. Bathroom and shower were nice, the owner was nice. All around not a bad stay.

Just checking for my refund. We had to leave this hotel due to its inappropriate and unsafe environment.

The office staff was nice. The hotel itself was ok. The rooms were small but drafty and don’t hold heat very well in the winter. The beds were ok. But the room needs some major updating and also more insulation in the walls to retain heat. But for the price and what I needed it met expectations.

Only 25 min away from Caberfae Peaks ski resort.

The sheets looked dingy and had stains on them, whatever they were using as an air freshener was crazy strong, the molding along the floor was filthy and the heater in the room was so loud it woke me up every time it came on. I booked for 2 but did not stay the 2nd night, had it not been so late and been so exhausted from traveling i wouldn't have even stayed the one night. Overall nasty.

Room and bed was smelly. Stained pillow cases and sheets. I dare to check shower.

Had to go to the office to get towels and toilet paper. There was none in the room, except to wash clothes and a quarter of a roll of toilet paper.

A lot better than what I imagined actually. Read some reviews from others and I feel like they were bs'ing. Room was clean, beds were clean, sheets and be all. Bathroom was clean. I mean for the price I was highly satisfied. Only downfall was the air conditioner didn't work, but that was okay because it was nice and cool outside. Overall 4.7/5. I'd go back.

Friendly staff. Decent motel for the cost.

Better than the back seat of the car. Scary neighborhood and both the lobby and the room smelled like mildew. The outside of the building looked terrible, the room was clean enough to stay in but we were glad to get up and leave in the morning.

Stay was half the price of other properties in the area but it is a very old motel, and it shows.

In need of some renovations but the owners work hard to keep it clean and comfortable. Great AC! Frig and microwave in the room. Very nice owners/staff!

I was disappointed in this room. My sister and I were there for four nights. They did not come in once to change out towels, sheets, check supplies or clean. The trash was overflowing. We had to use our own shopping bag to put more trash in. We ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night and luckily my sister had a roll in her bag. We had to go to the front desk to get a roll in the morning. I did like the size of the refridgerator.

Dirty floors. Bugs paint peeling. Window screens broken. Needs a severe update. Had to ask to have the floor mopped. Dirty feet going to bed from floors. Under bed had warped flooring and a lot of dust and bugs. Never again. Coffee was see through very weak. No breakfasts.

There were zero bedbugs. The mattresses were very comfortable. They could use new sheets and towels. They were clean, just yellowed and stained in spots. The staff was friendly. Parking is right outside your room. It is definitely an older building. But it looked like they were making improvements. It is definitely worth the cost.

I was disgusted and reluctant to even sleep in the bed after seeing all the mattresses piled up by the dumpster...to me that spelled bed bugs. Even still there was dirt on the air conditioner. It was so high up I couldn't reach the controls except to turn it off, which I did since I'd rather be hot than have all that dirt blowing around. The floor was sticky. The fixtures in the bathroom were corroded. The bathroom door was patched over poorly. I couldn't recommend this to anyone.

the hotel was in a good location for what we needed..it was clean and nice..no hair dryer but i brought my own..overall it was good for the nie
