Nice hotel. Comfortable bed and lots of breakfast choices.

Absolutely loved our stay at Porta Nova in Braga and would definitely stay there again. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing restaurante, close to many cafes and other restaurants. Easy to walk to others parts of the city.

Great hotel with tons of charm in the heart of the city center.

This is a unique and well designed hotel. Our room was small, but exceptional in design. The room offered two sides views of the square in front of the hotel—with balconies. Shutters on the inside kept noise out. The bathroom was very nice and the water pressure in the shower was great. The wooden floors were very nice.

Lovely hotel & room, modern, bright with very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel is right in the centre of the old town where everything is in walkable distance. Perfect location. Rooms are very very small, so small that I could only walk sideways to pass my side of the bed. Same for the bathroom and same for the breakfast area. However, the room had all amenities you'd expect for a 3 star hotel and was so lovely and pleasant that it definitely made up for the small size. I would definitely recommend.

A charming place to stay, walkable to everywhere. The staff was excellent. Dianna at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, her service was amazing.

Absolutely wonderful! More than I expected!

The location of PNCH is fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place is nice. That said, my room (#300) was very small, and the bed was a modified sofa bed. It felt like it was supposed to be the lounge area for room 301 that shared a connecting door that the guests of 301 repeatedly tried to open, LOL. I was traveling solo on this trip, so having access to both sides of the bed wasn’t needed, but would have presented a challenge with another person in the room. The staff was pleasant but not overly accommodating - not fantastic but not terrible. The room was fairly well soundproof so the noise outside was not much of an issue. Overall, if you get a good deal on PNCH, it would be worth a stay, just avoid room #300.

Great location. Easy access to center

An amazingly cool and petite hotel with even more amazing staff! We had one of the small rooms but it was very comfortable and quiet.

Beautifully restored property. Super comfortable beds, good breakfast and lovely hotel overall.

The hotel was well located to easily access the main attractions, shopping and dining. Also walking distance to bus station (approx 10 min walk). The staff were friendly and even reserved our taxi driver for 5am on a Sunday morning to take us to the airport. It cost approx 66 Euros to cab from there to porto airport. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Would recommend and stay there again.

The hotel felt very cozy, the breakfast was very nice, all the typical breakfast items but I especially appreciated that it had oatmeal and fruits. We loved that we could enjoy our breakfast outside (if desired.) the location of the hotel is amazing- perfect for walking. During our stay there was an event going on but the windows were probably dual pane as we practically couldn’t hear any noise. Great stay!

Warmly welcomed upon our arrival. Hotel is on a lovely square with views from the top floor. Great sleep in my roof top room. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Great place with amazing service and perfect location. Room and bathroom were really nice. The manager even took me for a tour of the city and surroundings as it was a slow day.

Excellent location next to the citygate, cathedral and all the restaurants and bars. The hotel has no parking though due the location in the walkingzone. Romantic and very nice rooms but unfortunately also very small. The restaurant has nice and attractive prices.
