Excellent location, very friendly staff and clean.

We had a pleasant stay at Athens Utopia. The reception desk staff were amazing. So helpful. The restaurant food was excellent. Beautiful rooftop view of the Parthenon/Acropolis. It is a hidden gem. Look for Kalispera (name of Restaurant) sign. The entrance to the hotel is easy to miss. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Athens.

The hotel is well located within the heart of Athens and within walking distance of many of the attractions. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed the terrace for morning breakfast and evening drinks. The only critique we have is that there was a smell that came from the pipes in the bathroom which is probably a structural issue. Otherwise the room was very nice.

Location was ideal to be in the center of the city. All the shopping and dining options were easily accessible. The hotel was great just what we needed for our 2 night stay. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant for breakfast, dinner and drinks.

Slow check in. Clean. Impressed with the room. Thought we had double beds. Instead one large. Beautiful bathroom. Loved the rain shower. Nice they have hot instapot for tea and coffee. Refrigerator was nice. Offered a welcome drink. The bartender was not so friendly. Bed was comfortable. No closet. But there was a place for hanging clothes. It was just open.

The view on the roof deck was spectacular, the provided breakfast we had while we enjoyed the view was also excellent. The staff were friendly and the location was central to everything. I highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.

It was conveniently located

They had plumbing issues and our room stinked from it. Housekeeper did a great job but the stink was coming from the wall due to pipe bursting.

Hotel was lovely, had great amenities including free breakfast and was centrally located. Note: it is located on the pedestrian only part of Ermou street, so taxi drop off is a short block away. Also, the lobby is minimal. But the desk clerks were absolutely wonderful and helpful.

This hotel was a very updated and very clean establishment. The front staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to check in early as my room was ready once I arrived. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was extremely nice. It was one of those rain showerheads and the pressure was amazing considering it was in Europe. Also the views at the rooftop restaurant were spectacular looking at the acropolis. It did get quite noisy at some points throughout the evening because of the location of the hotel on a busy shopping street but you do not hear it inside your room. It is close to a metro station, which makes the location even more desirable. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this location and I would 10 out of 10 recommend and stay at this hotel once I go back to Athens. Thank you staff for an excellent stay!

This hotel is an amazing find right in the heart of everything. 5 minute walk to Syntagma Sq and Plaka. You won’t find a location more centrally located. The hotel is all new construction, great bed, bathroom, shower, storage and safe. Lots of room to stretch out. Elevator, rooftop restaurant and bar with a great view of the Acropolis without the crowds. Breakfast was amazing and was included with my room. I recommend it so much that I already booked another stay for my return.

We stayed at Athens Utopia Ermou for 3 nights and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and clean and a descent size. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The only issue during our stay was that the lift stopped working on several occasions meaning we had to use the stairs. Thankfully on our check out day the lift was working and we didn’t have to carry heavy luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Also note our room had beams blocking the window in the room that obstructed the view, keep that in mind if a view is important. In saying that the view on the rooftop bar where breakfast was served was magnificent!! Great view of the Acropolis.

We arrived at the hotel at 00:30 and the room was prepaid, with a special note, ”arriving late around midnight”. Upon arrival we were informed by front- desk that we have no room, the hotel has been overbooked. Receptionist tried to book us into other hotels during one hour without any success, the situation evolved into a nightmare.

Best location!!!! Not the prettiest hotel but if you are looking for location this is it. They have a great rooftop with Acropolis view which is really nice. Staff is great

Small hotel in the middle of it all! Such a great location that is walkable to all the great points of interest. Rooftop breakfast spot had amazing views of the acropolis and the food and coffee was excellent! Staff service quality was good as well. Just note that there is no lobby for sitting and only one elevator. Room was comfortable with nice shower and bed.

A cute little hotel, relatively expensive for what it offers. There is one problem that throughout the day there is noise from the nearby streets and it doesn't matter which direction the room is facing. In terms of the hotel's location, it is close to everything, which is great. It's a shame that breakfast is no longer served. In the past there was a very good catered breakfast on the top floor and as of this holiday, it is no longer served and it's a shame. The fact that the hotel does not have a lobby is a disadvantage. The cleanliness was beyond criticism, the toilet was not cleaned and the sheets were not changed during a 5 night stay, so we had to ask to be cleaned. It doesn't look like we will return to this hotel unfortunately.

Amazingly located at the heart of Ermou and outstanding views of the Acropolis. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room was quite unique and the bed was extremely comfortable and spacious.

Bring earplugs. There are mediocre street musicians outside playing very loud drums until late at night. There is no soundproofing of the rooms.

Good property. Excellent location for walking! Ridiculous over amplified noise from street huskers is unbearable and makes sleeping difficult!!
